THANKS KATE!! I know, isnt it fab?? I will NEVER EVER forget Marty's true and honest excitement, I felt like he was my little brother (getting a little choked up right here, a-hem) and I gave it to him for XMAS. His eyes got HUGE and he said "FOR ME" and grinned from ear to ear (I almost was blinded from the sparkling glare of his teeth) and he ripped opened the wrapping and said "Thank you, Thank you, I lost my other one at the Aragon" and he hugged me and asked me what my name was.

So I think he is going to keep it! He really liked it!! I dont know what ever possesed me to do this, it was like after Thanksgiving I think and I was at the Naval Base shopping and I saw this rack of name dog tags and the FIRST one I saw was MARTY, there was just one and after I took it out it said "REPLACE" on a little brown tag. Then I bought the Scott one for myself and have wore it ever since, I love it, its never coming off.

Oh sorry to ramble like the fan-boi that I am. but Kate- your more than welcome to use my pictures as avatars on boards.....thanks for asking, I would be pretty upset if they ended up on eBay is all... thats why I watermarked them.

I would love to get him to sign that picture for me, its very special to me, its right after I gave him the dogtag and I just shoved my camera in his face and hit ZOOM! You can see Kate's necklace (I copied Marty and have one just like it on its way via eBay) and also the Dog tag is stuck around his collar. The girl that put it on, didnt do it properly, she needed to pull his hair back and stick the collar onto his neck, she was probably scared too! LOL

Amy- I am not sure if they have, but I was a little worried after bearing my soul like that here and no one replied!!

I was going to pm you and tell you to read because I knew you would love to hear it. Its weird, I was so high from meeting them that little bits and pieces of the night and my memory of conversation are coming back to me!!

Now that I know them and the initial "shock" that I met them (my co-workers are so impressed and they all said "how did you get those pictures, BACKSTAGE?" and I am like nope!

I also yelled OH MY GOD when I came out of the lobby and saw Bobby, then Marty signing stuff, I had lovehammer blinders on and so I think I might have mowed down some fans who were in front of me. I promise not to do that again, its not Beatlemania...its HAMMERMANIA!!!!!!!!!

And Amy, I would like to fully review (proper with no profanity, etc) and submit some of my Viper Room pictures for this site!!

And have I told you Miss Coker that YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I probably spelled that wrong, but I LOVE PHIL.FOOD! I worked with a girl who was from Cebu at one job and she spoiled me with the goodies from her her country. Then at my recent job this sweet girl named Gemma (who was from Manila would make those dishes too and bring them to work!

I know exactly what you mean about little bits and pieces coming back to you. You were a little bit in front of me in the lobby, and I for one, was not in the least bit bothered by you having your Marty moment. He was so relaxed, and not rushing anyone, it was as if we had all the time in the world. Of course, I can say that, since I wasn't rushed with him either, but if he had been whisked away with out my getting my chance to meet him, I may have been a bit upset. You were great to give him that dog tag. I, like a total dork, didn't even think about it! I was just hoping to catch a glimpse of him! Have a great time at the Viper Room. I'll be waiting for a report! Will you do it from CA or do you have to wait to get home?

Awesome review. Only wish it could have been me..... well, no, glad it was you. You had such a fantastic time and are a real Lovehammers fan.
They sound so cool. I still cannot get over the fact that most of the crowd was not responding to Marty, but to INXS. Maybe they were the over 60 group. LOL
Anyway, thanks for the cool review. I lived every minute with you.
Going to the DC show in Feb. Got lousy seats. Maybe I will just absentmindedly sit in someone elses front row seats. Worst scenario, just being sent back to my nose bleed section.

I think Rockbeast needs to come to the Charlotte concert. It's going to be a MC.org blast! Jodie is coming from CA, so I think RB should be able to travel too. Can I see a show of hands from those who agree with me?!

I know!! I have been here before and in the front of the club when you walk in there are tables and chairs then you walk down a slender aisle to the small open are and small stage!! We get there early and snag a MC.ORG table! I will try and call tomorrow to see if they still have it set up that way Amy....

Since the MOMM versions are similar to the live show, that would be my guess. The only song that might be different is The Tunnel because they changed up the lyrics. I would expect it to sound like the old version though because that Mitch Allan dude isn't on the road with them to add the backing vocals.

Hey.. That's fine with me since I prefer the older versions anyway.

OMG!!! that's amazing!! Thanks for sharing the experience. I'm going to the Mizner concert in Boca. Hope I get to meet Marty and the guys. I am flying in from PR just to see them and it is my first concert in almost a decade....yep...i was pretty much out of it (for lots of reasons i won't bore u with) but MARTY definitely brought me back to my rock-concert- lovin -freaky spirited-gotta shout my soul out- self ;D
