Don't know if I'm doing this right, but just had to let you all know (as if you don't by now!) that Marty Casey is definitely an ANGEL ON EARTH!!! Even though she couldn't go to the shows, we took our beautiful 4yo grandaughter who is a devoted Marty fan with us in the hopes that MAYBE she could stay awake long enough for the meet & greet... She did, and the best way I can describe the experience without writing a book is MAGICAL!! Not only did Marty Casey immediately notice her (she makes it hard not to!), he cast everyone else (mostly girls, imagine that??) aside, got down on his knees so they were eye to eye, introduced himself & asked her name all the while holding her hand in his, and told her "Leah, you're going to be a superstar someday"... And to top it all off, when we were carrying her away from the mob-site he was on his tip-toes to wave and say "Goodnight Leah!" Our Leah was absolutely GLOWING and kept repeating as she fell asleep, "Marty said I'm gonna be a star someday Gramma"... I hope he knows how much what he did meant to all of us...so people, THIS IS MARTY CASEY. And after INXS' "appearance" & aftermath, I dare say Mr. Fortune would have been much too busy for a mere 4-year old. If anyone has any kind of private address for Marty, we would really like to send him a THANK YOU, so please write me if you know of anything besides the fan club address?? WE LOVE YOU MARTY, AND YOUR LOVEHAMMERS!!! PLEASE COME BACK TO OREGON SOON!!! Leah's Gramma & Family p.s. If anyone happened to get a picture of our "moment" Friday night, PLEASE let me know? Gramma forgot her camera!!!

Julz - I just know that Marty/Lovehammers would love to hear that you and your grandaughter enjoyed yourselves!! Drop them an email to: lovehammers13@aol.com. Dino, I know checks the emails at least once a week, and passes them on, and I know they would be touched by your story.

That is too cute. I hope you get pictures of that from someone. That man...every day, I wonder if there's anything else that could make me think any higher of him, and then someone goes and says something like this, and it throws that all out the window. Thanks for sharing.

I'm coming out of "lurkdom" to respond to this! What a great story, Leah's gramma. I am the mother of the two boys that RayneDove mentioned. (We were actually in Seattle, not Oregon, but it doesn't matter) I, too, have to comment on how great these guys were with my kids!! Marty totally initiated the "goofing off" pose and the boys just ate it up. My boys will now be LH fans for life! Every time we get in the car they say "let's listen to the Lovehammers CD" and then my youngest will say something like "yeah, we met them". These guys made a HUGE memory/impression with a few kind words, a smile and a bit of "goofiness". I hope they know how much it is truly appreciated.

Hey Sherisboyz!! Thanks so much for sharing YOUR magical tale of Marty! I'm SO jealous of your pictures though, gotta say... although the whole thing is still so vivid in the minds of my entire family, I doubt it will fade anytime soon!!
