Go to the category on the board named Hammerheads. The topic at the top labelled Q & A with Dino.... is where you post your questions.

Downloaded music will depend on which site you download it from. If is is MSN Music (which is should be to pay to get Marty's Rock Star songs & the Lovehammers CD) Then go to the site music.msn.com/ and click on the little buy button and then follow the instructions as they come at you. It is really easy. Most music download sites are set up to be very very user friendly.

Question:
How do I quote just a portion of a previous post? I always end up getting the whole thing (previous quotes included) and I don't always want all of that in my post...

simple enough I think some where I read I should give you a...um ...what's it called...oh yeah...a karmel , nope kart, nope could it be a karma. Yes the term on a message board is Karma...and it is for rating other posters. We turned that off on this board. Seems kinda grade schoolish to me like a popularity contest. Not my favorite option on a board. So no karma giving here.

Question: How do I quote just a portion of a previous post? I always end up getting the whole thing (previous quotes included) and I don't always want all of that in my post... One you click on quote, and the quote pops onto the message block you are replying in, use your mouse to carefully remove any part of the quote you don't need. Be sure to not mess with the part around the quote tags though or you will mess up the quote appearance on your post.

Question: Why when you make a post...does the folder "FLAME" by that post After a thread receives a certain amount of posts, it becomes a "hot" or frequently replied to topic. They put the little flaming graphic by it so people can see what the popular discussions are. A sticky thread ....the ones tacked down at the top of the category are marked by the mods to keep them on the front page because they contain info that we want everyone to see. We can unsticky them too once the info becomes less important. Sticky posts do not turn hot, no matter how many replies because a thread can only have one or no icon beside it. Does this make sense?

Hi, I can't seem to play the brand new interview with Marty link on the home page... won't open , and I'm dying here. That inteview is in mp3 format (I could get it posted faster that way.) I just played it to make sure it plays and it does. Also no one else has reported a problem....is anyone out there also having a problem? I suspect it is an issue with your computer..... or you connecton. Are you on broadband, regular dialup, or whatever? Determine what type of audio player normally pops up to play mp3 files on your computer, come back and post what it is and I can maybe offer some potential solutions for you.

I saw some info from proboards about now being able to be invisible. This can be done by modifying your profile.

How do I view all the threads? When I look at the boards I see 5 to ten choices, but at the bottom there is info about threads that I see in the lists.

The Only review I know is at the bottom of the front page when you first login, there is a list of the twenty posts. I ususally start there....but then of course I am trying to skim read everything as a moderator looking for problem areas.
Another thing to find your own posts is to click on your profile and it shows the last so many of your own posts at the bottom.
