MathMurderer
I believe that the post of yours that you are referring to is still on this board. We don't delete posts unless absolutely necessary, we just sometimes close threads if it is causing a lot of controversy and other users are complaining. You are fairly new to the board and sure have a lot of complaints about things Most people over here don't come to complain, but to catch up on the news about Marty and to be fans with other fans. We aren't running a political or social awareness board, so trying to incite people on these type of issues not relating to Marty Casey and Lovehammers is sort of counter-productive to what is going on here.
Sorry that the board isn't what you expect. We just do the best we can to promote Marty Casey and share news, ideas and opinions relating to him and his band.

Am I allowed to use pictures from this site as my avatar?
I'll find something else if not.
The updates to the site are amazing!

Hi
MartyCasey.org is up and running...but we do have a new look. The "old look" will not be back....but all the content from the old site is on the new site.
Hope this clears up any confusion.

Thanks Cindy! What a relief.
I actually thought she meant the new Lovehammer site. But maybe I was wrong.

I have had several people report problems accessing the site.....yet it is up and just fine. It seems that so far the ones reporting problems are either using an AOL browser or are using Roadrunner as their ISP. This makes sense that both of these would act the same since both are owned by Time Warner and BOTH share network resources. So my question is who is not either on AOL or using Roadrunner as an ISP that is having a problem? This info is really important to see if we can figure out what is going on with this.
Thanks.
C.

One more important note here. The last time we sent out email newsletter to subscribed users that had RR.com addresses..... (Roadrunner) all bounced back saying the email would not be delivered. So the question is why? I think not only are they blocking their customers from getting to the website, but they are also bouncing all mail coming from the mail list. It is probably an over-aggressive setting on some incoming server there as the recent spam attacks and virus attacks steal addresses published on the web and use them to send out their crud. So some ISP's get really strict about what comes in or goes out of their network.
I really think it is worth a call by one of their users to their support line to find out what is going on.
Thanks to whoever can help here.

Cindy, I contacted AOL and they gave me a few things to do to my computer all of which did not work, but I will email you their reponses and maybe you can pass the info on along. It might work for someone else. SandalsGirl

Hi Cindy & Amy: Do you think it's possible to add a "Tour Towns" section like what they have over at the LH website? We could all keep track of who is going where. Thanks and Merry Christmas!!

What do the stars represent under our screenames and how is it determined if we are a new fan or 18 and over. Is that something I can change of is that what the administrators do?

Grace67-stars are based on posts. See the quote below for more info. Just pm Amy or Cindy and they will change you to 18+. If you need any help with anything let me know. I am who set up the star system for the site. Here is the chart: 0 - 49 posts 1 star New Fan 50-99 posts 2 stars Just a Fan 100-249 posts 3 stars Big Fan 250-499 posts 4 stars Devoted Fan 500 and over 5 stars Obsessed Fan Staff members can only have one level of assignment.... that includes the Admin, the moderators and any other assigned staff member groups. I had to make the 18 and over group a staff member group to be able to password it for those 18 and over. So then that means that they cannot progress on the Rank list. To give them some stars, I assigned two but I can make them a different color I think to make them more attractive. To advance in ranking the only choice is to come out of a staff member group. The only way to have the whole board on the same ranking chart is to eliminate the 18 and over section. If I remove the 18 and over section, then a whole lot of those threads will have to be removed to comply with the PG rating of the rest of the board. I will abide by whatever the majority wants. So let me know. Do you want me to put up a poll to see if the majority wants to remove the 18 and over section or to leave things as is?
