B U M M E R I think we need to wait until Eminem's fans are out at "da club" and then we can strike. My 14-year-old is a huge Eminem fan. Glad she's not voting against me! |

I was feeling guilty about voting multiple times but now I can see that my little fingers can't keep up with the bots...that totally s*cks.

I want to clarify what I said about not thinking that the multiple voting (via cookie clearing)works. I said that the tally doesn't change. I meant the number of votes counted, not the percentage.
I would refresh, see that there were 20,234 votes tallied. Then I would vote, and the results popped up and would say that there were the same 20,234 voted tallied.
So I'm not convinced that it's even working. Bummer.

I agree with rockfan that the retally takes a little bit longer to refresh...
Also, what happened to good old fashioned cheating? We can't keep up with this new fangled modern cheating...lol

I posted this on the other MSN thread on this site and I'll post it here too. This was logged on the the old LH board by Nancy/BBE... I just sent the following message to Feedback at MSN Music. Here's the URL for the feedback page, so you all can send messages, too.

I specified "artist page" and "other" in the pull-down boxes, then added the link for the artist of the month page.
"Hi--I'm looking at the MSN Artist of the Month page, and it looks like there is an automated vote program running to put in votes for Enya. music.msn.com/artistofthemonth
There have been more than 5000 votes per hour. Last night, Enya had 2 % of the votes, and Lovehammers had 70%.
Can you please look into the suspicious volume and speed of votes being cast for Enya, and if it's a voting program, put a stop to it?
