I dont know what is more awesome, seeing the LH at a small club like The Viper Room or all of us Hardcore OUT OF STATE Hammerheads traveling from far and away to see our fave band perform. I hope I dont cry! Cry?? Okay, RB - You're taking this Suzie thing a little too far. . . .

Yeah, let's all do dinner and drinks somewhere before the show. Any ideas? Any local people out there to give us some recommendations? You could go to the Rainbow room, it's across the street (and a few doors up) from the Viper room. They have a full dinner menu, full bar (of course), and it reeks of rock history (featured in the GNR November Rain video) www.rainbowbarandgrill.com/ and you could make reservations. Whatever you do I hope you guys have a good time.

The Rainbow Room sounds great, thanks polarfan! I'm not a big fan of Thai, but if you all want to go there, that's fine with me too. I have a feeling that I am going to be a little too jittery to eat much anyway.
How many of us will there be for dinner? I'm bringing a friend and I think that klly and ChiTownChick want to come. Check in if you want to join us or if you have a different suggestion for dinner. Also, what time should we go?

Im thinking about skipping the earlier bands, what do you guys think?

Okay southern California folks. Does anyone know what the parking is like at the Viper Room? Is it valet? I'm trying to think out my strategy and timing from the Gibson to the Viper Room. West Hollywood can be a parking challenge. And I don't remember any lots right next to the VR. Anybody know?

There are a few pay parking lots in the area, so what I'm gonna do this Monday (day off) is going to do a "dry run" and scope out exactly where the parking lots are and about how long it's gonna take from Gibson to Viper etc...is that not the nerdiest thing ever written I'll have a full report...complete w/ notes and everything ;D

Count me in for dinner. I'm not picky about the cuisine.
Klly, that would be great if Kimberly87 would set up the reservation once we determine a restaurant, meeting time and head count.
Any ideas on what time everyone wants to get to the Viper Room?

Any ideas on what time everyone wants to get to the Viper Room? I am not picky either!! Though I do not eat fast food/high fat/fried foods, so anywhere I can get lemon water and a salad and BOOZE, is fine with me. And I wanted to get to the Viper around 10:30 I think....

We will get the camera in!!!
Thanks for the link for the rainbow room - excellent choice.
Now we just need to figure out a time and approximate headcount - would 7 or 8 p.m. work?

I think 8:00 sounds good. Gives us all a chance to sightsee, rest, etc. before meeting up. Then if we spend a couple hours at dinner we can head over to the Viper at 10:30 or so. Okay with everyone?
Okay, so far for headcount, we have for sure: Penny My friend Klly ChiTownChick Rockbeast Kimberly87
Others who have posted here that are not going to Gibson are: treebee reddgt
Would you two like to meet up with us?
Is there anyone else interested in meeting for dinner? Should I ask over at the LH site?

Penny- yeah Rach. (TreeBee) said she would be up for it (dinn) I think? And spiritgateway (Tisha) is also going to the Viper and not to the Gibson.
8 oclock sounds fine.

I PMd a bunch of people who said in the original VR thread that they are going and told them to check in here if they would like to join us. I also posted the invite on the LH site.

The hammerheads appreciate you. I think I read somewhere that the valet parking was $20. at the BelAge Hotel next door. That may seem like alot (I agree, it is). But we paid that much to park at Staples Center for the McCartney concert last month and had to walk a little ways. Don't know if the hotel has self parking. We're staying the night, so we're parking there anyway.

Dude. I would so love to meet up with everyone first!! The Rainbow Room is sweet.
Gibson girls: should we try to hook up before the concert? Or at the Meet and Greet? Something, anything!

I'm going to both Gibson and Viper Room. I would love to meet up with people before the Gibson. We could do something at City Walk so we are already at universal or meet part of the larger group of out of towners who are going to the Viper Room somewhere near there for drinks. I noticed above that they are talking dinner at 8pm and by that time we'll need to be at Gibson. I'm open to plans but I would really like the opportunity to meet everyone from here!
