He was backing the car up to drive home and I said,"Oh!" He slammed on the brakes, thinking he was about to hit something. I had to tell him I just thought "Trees" was playing on the radio. It was the CD playing. I think he's waiting for tonight to pass so I can get over this already! Little does he know. hehehehe. . .

Just getting home at 3a.m. so I won't write much but OMG the Viper Room Show was amazing. I went to both the Gibson and the VIper Room and While the guys were great at the Gibson--give them a room of 250 people who know and love their songs. Everyone singing along--and the experience is awesome. The room was packed and hot which somehow added to the experience. I took pix with a disposable camera--I don't know how they'll turn out. Will try to develop tomorrow.
Missed meeting and greeting the guys. Couldn't find them at the Gibson and they understandably didn't hang out tht long after the VIper--some lucky people from the board connected--but alas not I. Although hard not to feel like you have a personal connection when you see that personal of a concert.
There were so many board people there. So fun to connect with everyone and I have to say--you all are the nicest group!
I wish I had enough brains cells functioning to recap more--but my bed is calling me. Happy to have seen 2 concerts in one night! Will catch you up tomorrow.

I can't even begin to talk about tonight. But for now I'll echo what cjspas said.
I will say that I am completely and utterly devastated that there was no Meet and Greet at Gibson OR Viper. LA got shafted.
My heart is broken.

SUCH SUCH A FANTASTIC SHOW!!!!! I'll post the whole story later, but the show rocked! I wish it had been longer but every song was fantastic. The guys were sweaty and totally into it. Klly, ChiTownChick, Jodie, Kimberly87, Jezza, and D and I got to talk to all the guys after for an hour or so. They signed stuff and posed for pics - until the Viper people yelled at us about the camera. They were so sweet to us and there were only twenty or so people in there with us. I love love love this band. I'll try to get the whole story up tomorrow. Oh, I got to take a whole roll of film during the show - including when he had his shirt off. Yummy. My favorite part? Marty even got me into what he called a "compromising position." More on that later. |

I second Penny's motion but Chanvre I'm sooo sorry girl  you'll get another opportunity, I know it... alas no Marty-love for me either tonight, at either show. Well 'cept the singing to me when he came into the crowd. More on that later, he was so great to everyone there. Got to talk to Bobby, Dino & Billy though & they had some funny things to say about me & the bus chase. We definitely didn't have the meet n greet opportunities like you all in other cities but the shows were FANtastic & the Viper closeness was unbelievable. My story to follow when I get home from Vegas. EVERYONE I met tonight - it was sooo much fun & so great to meet you all & I look forward to seeing you all again! ok nighty night, must get sleep for a few hours before my flight to Vegas. ciao for now... ~J |

I'm going to copy some Penny posts over here so that ya'll don't have to visit the Fangirl Forum Marty wore faden's fave shirt. His pinstriped pants. The guys were all sweaty. We were about a foot and a half from him when he leaned out over the crowd. I got some sweat on me. After the show, I was getting my viper room shirt signed by the guys and when I asked marty to sign it I had to bend over so he could sign on my back. He was actually...um...all pressed up against me from behind. Talk about butterflies. He was laughing and said "this is quite the compromising position." I said "I don't mind Marty...you can buy me dinner later." |
