Okay, brucem, if you go to the "visit martycasey.org" button at the top of this page, then scroll down on the home page, you will see links to the Uncasville shows. Your picture is under number 3 ... and it's a really clear shot! if you can't find it, let me know and I may be able to detach it for you.

I just got this pic from a friend. I love it, and thought I'd share. Marty had just looked up and noticed the LH shirt I had made.

You are so lucky, sambren, that you got your moment captured perfectly on film!
That's what I love is the genuine responses you get from the band. They aren't faking it - which you can obviously tell from the pic.

Thanks so much!
The one thing I remember his face lighting up when he looked up (I was surprised by his reaction, actually)...and I was so excited to see it caught on film.
I was lucky enough to go to two shows and meet them three times, and found every one of them to be so sweet, kind, patient, and happy to meet and talk with their fans. You can see it in their eyes that they are genuine when they talk with you. I read everyone say that before I met them, but it is completely true. And my husband agrees 100%.
Awww...I'm in such withdrawal right now.

Exactly - it was so unexpected, too, when it happened to me. I'm with you - having horrible withdrawals with periods of extreme giddiness in between when I think about that night ;D

I know I'm very late to this party, but I just want to say ... it feels very good to be in the company of other people who are so attuned to the fact that there's something extraordinary about Marty and the rest of LH. And Wendy, franny, Sharon, et al., you've done a wonderful job of putting it (and its implications) into words. For myself, I've found that a struggle to do.

WHERE TO START?!?!?!?! (sorry, I'll stop screaming...hubby's complaining about that too...seems I've lost some hearing...) We get to the Sun (aka Mohegan)... We park on level 4 west We down our refreshments...Then we go into the arena...................................................................................................
Hubby bought me a LH t-shirt (for valentine's day!).......................................................................
We go to our seats.....it's a nice small arena....BUT we are up one level....straight back pretty much....the place felt so EMPTY! We need to show our love!!Lovehammers are due to come on in 15-20 minutes...................................
It's gonna be EMPTY! LET US ON THE FLOOR!!!! I suprised both hubby and I by going down to ask a guard (a nice older lady) if we could please, please, please come down JUST for the opening act...we came JUST to see them and NO ONE is here and we NEED to support them and could I just give her my driver's license and promise to come back to our seats for INXS. Her answer? NO!
Then, MY BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, FREAKING AWESOME MAN OF A HUSBAND gives it a try....he goes over to the sound guys, no luck, THEN HE FOUND JEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, JEAN! A woman in charge, a woman with a walkie talkie....I woman who also loves a small band and GETS IT and SHE FREAKING ESCORTS US TO THE SECOND ROW, ON THE END, JUST ABOUT CENTER FREAKING STAGE!!!!!!!!!!! We ended up directly in front of Billy. She marked our tickets and told us we could stay there for both acts
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!
So, then the LH start and the bouncers let us in the front row...we are banging on the woofers (the reason I can't hear....hubby is telling me later, "that sound you FELT in your whole body, that 'boom boom boom'...that was coming from the thing in front of you...the woofer" My response....huh?)
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOGMGOMGOMGOGM
THEY WERE AWESOME and INCREDIBLE and all that we'd hoped for....AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I TOUCHED THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Except Bobby. But I HELD MARTY's HAND!!!!!!!! and as hubby is quick to point out....I rubbed his legs....a lot...I just couldn't help it, he was standing right in front of me! LMAO! Billy jokingly claims hubby knocked the pick out of his hand, so he signed it later for us...wasn't mad, thought it was funny, but that's how close we were!
AND THEN.................................................................................
WE SANG WITH MARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We sang the song my 7-yr old daughter loves....the one I told her we'd sing for her.....Eyes Can't See. MARTY came over, bent down and sang with us (we'll we were pretty much shouting, lmao, he sang)....."MY EYES CAN'T SEE WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME....MY HEAD IS SPINNING ROUND AND I'M LOST AGAIN, LOST AGAIN!!!!!!!!!"
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMOMGOMGOMG
So, then, we watch INXS....they were great too. Hubby did his stand like a bouncer thing, lmao...I DANCED MY TUSHIE OFF (Jean told us later that she watched us from the back and I made it worth it for her, lmao!) OMG!
We left INXS at 9:30 and got in line for the LH meet and greet....so and, yes, again, we get FACE to FACE wtih the band...and they totally remembered us from the show! LMAO! Marty says "hey, we sang together." I told him the best thing that ever happened to him was not to get that gig because we f*cking love the lovehammers! We also told them our kids are huge fans, lol. We told them we CAN'T wait to hear them play ALL their stuff and we tried to get them to remember to come to the Webster in Hartford, lmao, we kept saying...."The WEBSTER...in HARTFORD" lmao, the Dino seem to be 'taking it down', HA! So then Billy signed the infamous pick for hubby. They also signed our tickets.
We blasted LH all the way home. Can't wait until NEXT TIME BABY! They ROCKED! Mmmm, mmmmmm, mmmm, mmmm!
I don't think I slept more than an hour or two. I was SHIVERING all night from the sweat....and I kept singing those songs! Woo! Poor hubby had to be up at 5am!
I think that's it......I'm going to just enjoy the glow and contemplate whether I really want to take a shower and wash off the night!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it was a FREAKING-TASTIC NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kathy!!! I'm looking for Kathy!! Kathy, in the photos you posted on the photo page for Mohegan we are in one!!! I'd LOVE, love, LOVE to have a 'real' copy of the photo. It's the 14th one on your set of really great photos. That's my hubby, black t-shirt, muscular arm ;-) And my arm is the one with all the bracelets, just about to hold Marty's hand again ;-) I can get a copy from the web but it's only 70-something DPI...I would absolutely love to be able to have a better quality print to frame with our tickets and guitar pick. Please contact me and let's see if we can work something out! Thank you!!!!!
