ktbrandy - Thank you so much for the wonderful story. I truly believe things happen for a reason and the fact that the concert got cancelled and your hubby couldn't go allowed your son to go and have such a great experience. I loved the fact that you prayed about whether or not it was the right thing to do and you good you're answer!!! As a mom too, I was so touched. It's something you'll always have together with your son.

I do miss some of the older stuff and wish it was still offered including l-strange cd. I should of gotten it when I had the chance. I just downloaded mine from I-tunes. I know it is not the same as having the real thing but it sure can take the edge off!

kbrandyt - I think they all know that there needs to be a better selection of stuff. I've voice the general census to them and they all look at me like "I know - we're trying to work on it". I just think their stuff would go flying off the shelves if they had a better selection. The hard part is getting the label to get it out. I don't get it. The LH's did a great job with getting good merchandise out there - I know regret not buying more of it - didn't think about it getting shut down. I bought a new shirt to support the band, but I don't wear it. I made my own.
FYI - I just loved meeting your son (and you). He was so excited to see the band. How cool would that have been if he'd have gotten on stage! I think you're the greatest Mom.

I think you're the greatest Mom.******************************* Awwwww! You too babe! If they had grabbed him I would have let him go - that is for sure! Now that would of been a picture! I can't wait for us to share more LH memories!! When we going to chi town??? I just told my hubby that I want to support the LH 'financially' by purchasing a shirt through them instead of making one. They are such great people and I really feel like their music is amazing. Besides buying cds and giving as gifts, I want a cute t-shirt too. I mean there were a lot of women at their shows with INXS that came to see them and I feel like they missed out on a lot of bucks they could of made. Husbands don't necessarily buy a t-shirt unless they themselves are a big fan. And the kid shirts would fly off the shelves - again because the majority of their fans on this particular tour were women/moms.

kbrandyt - I'm working on an e-mail to Dan. He was inquiring about something I had and I need to get back to him with the details. I will mention the need for kid t-shirts. Go ahead and send him a message too. The more they get requests, maybe the more likely it will happen. Like trying to get them on the damn radio here!
BTW - I went to the mall yesterday and they were having a telethon for Children's hospital - specifically research on cancer. I donated and then asked if I could do a song request. They said they'd play it if they had it. I'm not sure if they had it, but that would be cool if they played it. Still waiting to hear them on the radio.

ktbrandy, Thanks for the incredible review! That is SO cool for your son!! I'm sure neither of you will ever forget it, and something great you'll always share! I saw them in St. Charles and was dumbstruck as I went through the m&g line. I was actually grateful to Ted for keeping the line moving--less time for me to look/sound like an idiot!! As for the intensity thing......... OMG, I experienced this first-hand when I went to the show at Joe's and Marty jumped out of the ceiling after hanging upside down. Seems like it might be a somewhat playful moment, right? Um, not really.......! He was literally right in front of me and I reached out and touched him as he made his way back to the stage. I don't think he even SAW anyone in the audience (that look of intensity) and I had trouble getting out of his way--I thought the momentum was either going to carry me to the stage with him or knock me over!! Interesting.....I've never seen him described like that before, but I definitely experienced it too!

Hello, everyone! I've got some great pics of the boys in Minneapolis! I'm just wondering where I should post them? If someone can point me in the right direction, that would be great!

Hi hissa,
You can post your pictures right here in this thread if you'd like.
I know that Cindy, who runs this site, is also always looking for pictures to add to the galleries for each tour stop. (The galleries are linked from the front page of this site. Her email is also on the front page of the site.)
Can't wait to see your pictures!

No, he's not wearing underwear. The shadow from his shirt is the dark part, the white part is his skin ...
But he is wearing those cool lace-up pants. And I like the white T!

Glad everyone is enjoying the pictures! Also, here is a video of about 45 seconds of Trees. I wish I had gotten more video, but I wasn't sure how much my camera would hold. www.megaupload.com/?d=623Z0LWC

Where were you standing? My son and I were in the middle and toward Dino. I wish I would of gotten more pics.... I am so excited to have other pics of OUR show!! Woo Hoo!

I saw you and your son - he is adorable! It was sweet that he got some love from all the LH, too. It was difficult to get good pictures because they all move around so much! I've got a few more that are blurry, but still pretty good, that I might post. As far as posting your pictures, if you have a Photobucket account, there should be three links under each picture Url, Tag, and Img. If you copy the Img link and paste it here, that should post the photo. Can't wait to see them!
