Anyone familiar with the hotels in downtown Kansas City? I have found some available rooms. Would I rather stay at the Savoy or the Quartage (sp)? Anyone have an opinion or suggestion? I would sure appreciate any advice? Thanks in advance. Sharon

I have 2 tickets (LC ORC Row I) for the KC show on February 2nd that I must sell. I would be selling them for face value $49.50 a piece. Anyone interested?

Also, I am very familiar with hotels in KC if anyone is looking. Anything on the "Country Club Plaza" is the best place to stay in KC. Sheraton, Hampton Inn, Marriot are all on the "Plaza". If you need any additional information I will be happy to help. It's not far from Midland Theater (maybe 5 miles) and lots of great restaurants and shopping as well. Probably the best area in KC for "out of towners"! You will not be disappointed.

Ceeje- My daughter and I just figured out a way to get to this show!! Yippee. We did the Vegas show, NY and CBGB's. Meet lots of great street teamers and hammerheads in our travels. We would be happy to do some street teaming before the show. We are flying in from Phoenix the morning of the 1st and would have the afternoon to walk around and hand stuff out. We could also work the venue before the show and after. Let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas. Can't wait to join the other hammerheads in Kansas City.

Call us crazy-but that is what the Lovehammers do to you!! We would be happy to take flyers with us. I have ordered some pens already, they should be here in a couple of days. My daughter is planning on doing a big campaign at her high school for Lovehammers, so we figured pens would be something good to hand out at school. So we will take some of those with us. I tried to find out who was leading the efforts in KC, but didn't see anyone, so I'm glad I saw your post. Wish I lived there and knew the area better, but, I certainly will hit the venue and surrounding area. Email me for my addy. camille_palmer@yahoo.com

Where did you order the pens from? I've been looking into it, trying to find the cheapest place. Hopefully between now and the concert date we can find some people to help you guys ST.

So we have lhcrazy (plus her daughter) and avalon signed up to Street Team! Woo Hoo! Who else will be Street Teaming this show? Basically the goal of Street Teaming a show is to let as many people know that Marty & Lh have a CD out. A lot of people liked Marty from the show. A lot of people are going to go crazy for Lh at the show. They need to know that Lh has an album out. So Street Teamers have to get a flyer, a card, a pen, something into the hands of those people, so they can find out how to get the CD. People may see you handing out flyers and ask your opinion of the CD. This is your chance to rave about Lh. It's a good idea to dress in Lh colors (red, gray, black). Or if you have a Lh t-shirt (either bought through the website/tour or homemade), wear it with pride! Street Teaming never ends. You can Street Team before, during, and after the show. Check out velvet's post about the CT show for more ST ideas: martycasey.proboards62.com/index.cgi?board=tour&action=display&thread=1140193059&page=1#1140207332

Hey Avalon- We would love any help you can give. It doesn't seem as though there is a team leader for this show, so we volunteered to help out. We don't get in until mid-day on the 1st, so we'll probably head to the venue early and hand out flyers etc. Since you are local could you let me know what this venue is like(size, etc) Hopefully the guys will do a meet and greet and we will work the crowd after the show. If you like to meet up with us, let me know. Seems as though there isn't many lh fans on board for this show.

Hey, Nikki and I are planning to meet up before the show out front around 6:30. I'd love to street team before the show, but I don't think I can get there any earlier b/c my hubby won't get off early enough. Hopefully we can all meet up. KC better show the love for MC & LH! Doesn't sound like many are going so far from the .org and I haven't heard anything on the SOMC website either. Guess we'll be able to get front row dead center if no one is going to be there for the beginning of the show . Anyone hear anything on the camera issue? I know the Midland doesn't allow cameras but not sure if they will bend the rules for the concert.

Hey everyone- Meeting at 6:30 will be great. I am bringing flyers, pens, pics with me to hand out. Doesn't seem as though there are many hammerheads from the boards coming to this show. That will just mean that we will have to cheer and sing even louder!! I hope the people around me don't mind Can't wait to see lovehammers again-it's been 2 weeks and I'm in serious withdrawal. For those of you seeing them for the first time, get ready, you'll never be the same. Camille

Oh, I forgot to add- If we all wear lovehammer colors (red and black) or a band shirt or something like that, we'll stand out as lovehammer fans!! In New York, I instantly knew who was there for Lovehammers by all the red!!

Yeah, doesn't sound like a big following for KC, but we'll still make enough noise to make their visit worth it. This will be my first. I'm a MC & LH concert virgin and am dying to be initiated!!!
My seats are in the balcony, but if there isn't a big showing at the start, I'm working my way down to the front. Who's w/ me?!
See you guys there at 6:30!!
