A few of us were unable to get tickets. Our plan is to go to the venue the night of the show and hope someone drops their tickets, ha! We will be on the lookout to make a purchase......Help!
(We'll be wearing our wristbands, even as we sit on the street. hee hee hee!)

I actually purchased ours through EventUSA.com-a ticket broker, as the show sold out before we could get ours. They had a number of tickets listed for this show. I gave them to my husband for Christmas, along with the INXS Switch cd, Rockstars CD, etc. Hope he can handle me talking about Marty and Lovehammers until February 3rd! He will have his hands full!

I called the Orpheum to see if cameras would be allowed. While they said that it varies by show and they do not have the promoter's requirements as of yet, they will only make you put it away if they are not allowed. In other words, they allow cameras and cell phones, but you may be asked to put it in your purse. Thought I would post in case anyone else was wondering. I will have my camera for sure!

I've been to the Orpheum and I did not bring a camera but when we got there they said no camera's. Quite a few people in the audience tried to take pictures during the concert and I saw two people get there camera's taken away. I am going to the concert by the way....yeah.....I can't wait. Too bad the Lovehammers aren't going to be taking pictures after the show anymore. Apparently security had a problem with it taking too long.

That's too bad. I was really looking forward to trying to meet them in between their set and INXS's, or after the show. I may still bring a camera, but not take it out during the show. Maybe I will buy a disposable, so as not to have my digital taken away.
How early do you plan to get to the show?

Ok - so maybe, as we are the last show on the tour now, they'll let us get photo ops with them. I've got to look at some bright news in response to the latest turn of events.

I'm so bummed about this show being rescheduled. I have a hearing set for the morning of the new date, and my husband is not sure if he can take off of work for it either. I guess we will see. We already had our hotel set, and the time reserved off of work. I spend way too much on these tickets, and even face value would be pennies compared to what I paid. Sorry to be a whiner, but I am soooo very disappointed.

With my work situation I will probably not be able to make the reschedule date either. And I know these things happen but I am so depressed I just can't tell you.  Sharon |

Oh Sharon! I feel just awful for you. I did not have to deal with the plane tickets, as it is only a 5 hour drive from here. I hope your work schedule will allow you to attend the next date. I think I worked it out, so that even if I try my case that day, I will make it in time for the show. However, my husband may not be able to. I got him the tickets for Christmas, so I would feel bad using them if he cannot. Too bad they did not let Marty sing for INXS. That would have been a great solution. Hey Guys! I am getting excited for the MN show. I live outside the twin cities so do not have to travel far. My hubby cannot make it to this show so I am bringing my 8 year old son. I would love to meet some of you. NDLUV and JOMARTY - I see you guys made it over here too! I told my husband that my son will get his wristband now and he didn't seem too disappointed. I think he is relieved I am not making him wear one. NOT a jewelry guy! But jewelry is SO HOT on Marty and I love it!!!

I'm starting to get excited all over again too. We will not leave here until about noon, so if the roads are good, we should make it in time for the show. I will have my wristband on, so hopefully we can meet up with some of you there.

Hey Folks, Us crazy gals over at the White Pants Fan Club thread on the Marty board are looking for new recruits. Come join us over there and we're hoping to get someone who can print a picture of him in White Pants and get it signed or someone to hand a gift over to him from us. Any one interested? We'd even love for some to just say "Hi" for us. Our main purpose is to get him to wear his White pants and to spread our love for him which y'all have. It would be fun to meet up with everyone before the show. We will not leave here until between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., and it is snowing. So, I am not sure when we will get there. Our hotel is about 2 blocks from the Orpheum, so if a location is set nearby, we might be able to catch up with some of you.
