I am a little confused. Why are we making hotel reservations when the programming person from Harborfest said Lovehammers are not playing? They are not listed as an act anywhere on that website!

The fest is listed on the front page of mc.org, which means it is confirmed. According to Cindy and Amy, Epic is sometimes slow to post upcoming events on Lovehammers.com, but Marty wants his site to have the most current info possible. So they are kept in the loop whenever there is a confirmed event.
I, too, would feel better if I saw the band listed on the fest's lineup. But I trust Cindy and Amy when they say it is a confirmed show.
I am not telling anyone to book hotels, just sharing some requested information. It is up to you to decide whether you would like to reserve a room at this time - or wait. The reservation that I have is cancelleable, so I am comfortable with that.

WHAT!?!?!?!? Racine is near Chicago? Well, if it is that close to Chicago, I need to check this out for sure. Yeah, I am in Ohio but I will make this trip if it is an hour to hour and a half from Chicago. I am so clueless about Geography so I was thinking this thing was far away in the middle of nowhere!
Penny, you need to tell me about these things. You know Chicago is like home to me. LOL Near Chicago, I am there. LOL

We (MC.org) have been told this is a confirmed event on the Lovehammers' books. I do not know why there is conflicting information from the event staff. It could have been a mix-up and booked during the time that Lovehammers were in negotations with INXS for touring and the person answering email doesn't know an exact answer.  |

Okay, I have an update on this. With all the confusion swirling I decided to reach my contact regarding the LH's schedule.
THIS EVENT IS NO LONGER ON THE BOOKS. It has been cancelled due to other projects in the works.
Please spread the word. Thanks.
