Hey, I tried to give him some and he politely (I think, I hope) declined! I was shocked and a little insulted after all of Barbara's (the designer) hard work and the money that Tara Jordan and I had put into them. Oh well, you can't please everyone now can you? lol well I can say MARTY sure loved them...I can recap that in my story if you want treebee...it was very cool! & can I put in the pic of Billy signing your poster (your hair is in it) ;D |

It might take you a year to recap the night...I haven't even tried!  You will not believe this but I got back to Texas and realized that I didn't have the POSTER! I mean I carried that thing all the way to Vegas and carried it around the bar all night. Marty even asked at one point, "Why don't you just put that thing back in your room?" LOL I said I was afraid that I would miss something! Well, I called Tara and the hotel...neither had it. I was crushed. My husband told me that it was just a piece of paper and that compared to a night hanging out with the guys it was nothing. So I tried to put on a happy face and live with the fact that it was gone forever and likely would show up on eBay! Anyway, the next morning, Steph calls and says that she heard I was upset about losing my poster...and that she HAS it! There is a god! I love that girl!   |

Thanks everyone for posting the new pictures and stories today. I love small glimpses into everyone's experience and how they just sort of bubble up as they filter back up in your memory.
The whole experience was like being on overload--there was so much happening it was hard to process it all.
As hard as I've been trying to get back to work today I keep jumping onto the board so that I can relive Thursday night all over again. And share in the things I missed.
Is it any wonder not much work has gotten done today?

Great explanation. I'm the person who got the tickets for the SMC crowd and I did it in somewhat the same way. I found the right woman at the Hard Rock Cafe and started coming up with a litany of reasons why giving me tickets was a good idea for everyone. She disappeared right before the concert and I found her replacement and we worked it out. Sometime just being tenacious gets you ahead. The worst that could have happened was that they could have said no. They didn't.
Good for all of us who were there!
