WHAAAA! I cannot believe it! I was so excited about tomorrow been busy all day and just checked my email to see that the show was postponed. I cannot believe that JD is sick already its only been a handful of shows! What a wimp! Hopefully Lovehammers will still enjoy meeting the fans by the end of the tour and not be tired of it. I'm so depressed!

Hey Den JD has tons of time to get better....don't worry...you will still have the signing if worse comes to worse...it's good that the boys will have a bit of a break to do some R&R... peeks

This may be a blessing in disguise for the LH too...Marty mentioned how beat he and the guys were, giving it their all night after night...so he may well be next in line to get sick if he keeps pushing on ....this time off may do everyone some good...to rest up and recharge a bit.... I would rather have my concert postponed if the singer(s) weren't well enough to perform...and wait to see them do a great show...just not a so-so show... Nicely put. I felt for Marty too when he said he was beat. I was kind of hoping they got a rest somehow. It seemed to me the concert schedule INXS set up was going to be tough (crazy!). Hope everything works out for those who have to change their travel plans. It is winter and people do get sick. No, I'm not an INXS (I didn't stay for their show in Oakland) fan, but I don't wish bronchitis on anyone. Tough review of Denver. Ouch! Since the reviewer knew JD was sick he was out of line. I'm just mad they didn't mention the LH's in the Denver review. ps - working on that second fan star!

Knowing the guys, they may pull out their guitars and drums and do an acoustic set right there! Chins up!!!! and to paraphrase Lhs a bit... 'hold on to my hand if your heart is broken, clouds will clear and the sun will shine-- once again'.. Is there a Lovehammer lyric for every occasion?? Why, yes there is!

Sorry to read that all of this has happened. I hope that somehow most of the fans affected by these cancellations can get to the new dates. IMHO, I feel badly for INXS fans too. And also hate to see JD get so sick. I'm sure that we wouldn't what to see any of the Lovehammers in this situation. I'd like the sense of rivalry between some fans of INXS/JD and LH "fade away." We don't have to bring down any band in order to feel that the LH are our favorites.

I only have the greatest respect for INXS especially after Marty said how they took them under their wing. That is so awesome. The Lovehammers are so lucky to have an experienced touring band to show them the ropes and they have said that they are so grateful and learned so much already from touring with them. I in return am so grateful that they picked JD and not Marty...words can not tell you how grateful I am. From the very first time that I heard MOMM I knew he belonged with Lovehammers. It was a blessing for all of us. Wishing INXS the best. Wishing Lovehammers the best Den

How horrible JD must feel! I feel so bad for the fans who have to wait. This will be good for ALL the members of both bands to have several days to rest. I was just noticing that Marty looked "tired" in several of the recent photos (at times his smile was only at 60% brightness) and was hoping he would not get sick. I hope JD recovers completely and the tour will not suffer more cancellations due to any LH/INXS band member's illness....My heart goes out to those disappointed by their cancellations.

I am so bummed. I was going to the Mpls show. I'm just hoping that LH's will still be touring with them.
I didn't exactly appreciate JD's comments about Marty in an article from the other day, so I just can't seem to muster up a speck of empathy for him. Sorry, I'm trying to be as respectful as Marty would be, so I guess I'll just leave it at that. It also makes me worried about them opening up. I know Ticketmaster still says LH's are opening, but until LH's say so, I'm not feeling comfortable.

just another person that feels bad for all the fans that might have a hard time going to the new date. I hope it all works out for you. I never liked JD during the show... but don't wish him ill... and certainly wouldn't want to see him doing a crappy performance due to the illness. On the bright side... our guys get a rest!

I'm happy about all the Chicago folks who get the chance to see Lh perform again in such a surprise move. Hope the guys get a chance for a little rest during this time but they just never disappoint do they? With reference to the writer of the above quote, I'm curious about what article you're referring to in which JD did not refer to Marty positively. If you have a link, could you send it? Thanks.
