I emailed the station again and I was told LH's are up second, INXS is last, and the whole thing ends around 8:30 p.m. The station employee I emailed LOVES LH's too.

That is great news - that means less time having to maintain the front row and less time being out in the hot sun, since I really don't want to see any of the other bands.

Please note that this is still not officially confirmed. It's not "confirmed" until it's posted on the Lh site. I know that the station is advertising it as Lh being there, but it's not official yet. Hopefully we will hear the official word soon.

Crap. INXS is playing last. One of my friends that is going likes INXS so that means I have to stay the whole frickin' show. Thank gawd they'll be serving some alcohol. lol!

OH MY GOODNESS I WAS ON THE RADIO, I called after the DJ played Trees and I called him to tell him how much I appreciated him playing it, and we had a great conversation about how awsome they were and how they were coming to Sacramento, and he taped it and just played what I said on the radio to promote the concert. that was so funny hearing myself!

It's possible they are being confused with a band called the Lovemakers, so I wouldn't book anything until it's officially confirmed by the band.

How can a radio station be confused that bad, they are playing trees all the time and saying Marty casey and lovehammers coming to day in the zone, runner up on rockstar inxs. everyday I am hearing this on the station.

Just got off the phone, talking to my best friend who lives in Sacramento.
She was here visiting me in Florida and fell in love with Marty. I gave her "Marty and the Lovehammers " Cd, plus played her the Rock Star DVD.
She said the radio is full of Marty and the Lovehammers. She was getting tickets today.
Boy, wish I could go but it is the our Anniversary and a divorce would be on the menu. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

Seriously, here is the story. The show is booked, and it is in our calendar, but a couple things have changed in the past, and people got pissed, so we are trying to avoid that happening again.

Right now, I know the "Day in the Zone" is booked, as is Summerfest for July 8, The Guiness Oyster Fest on September 16, and Napervile Last Fling on the first week of September.

There was another date in June that we had booked, but it is no longer there, so I don't know what happened.

Cindy & I had publicized an event for June, but it got erased from the books and nobody told us. Things can sometimes change quickly when they are negotiating tours and dates.
