Jodie, and I thought I stalked the guys at a meet and greet last week! LOL, now I don't feel so bad for taking video of them in the lobby at the Reading show! I'm kidding you of course!

um...chayla I wasn't slapping anyone in the face - on the contrary. I went up to someone to see what they were passing out & the reception I received was less than warm. I thanked the person anyway for all that they were doing for the band & walked away. Please re-read that paragraph where I said the flyer was great & that everything [that everyone does] counts....also, I did not have photos of this particular exchange, as your quote indicates...

There are many groups that support the band as well as the individual members - we are all fans, we all have a common love of their music & I don't think that should ever be overshadowed by personality differences.

Anyway, great review!! I get all twisted in my head when I even consider writing out all that happened that night!!

So when is the final show? On Marty's and the band's myspace pages it states that the 26th is the last date-- are there more after that or is that really the ?? (can't say it)

Also for anyone who has AOL - You can put your pictures on AOL PICTURES in albums, and all you have to do when posting your pics from there is do [<img src="path to the picture (to get just right click on the pic and choose copy image location)">]

It's so much easier than Photobucket. Just fyi!

Sunday the 26th was supposed to be the last show in Boca, but they have those few concerts to make up from when JD had bronchitis. I think Minneapolis is the last show now. I'm not 100% positive on the date. Check with hammeredinmn, she's going....

Thanks for the heads up on the AOL photo album, I might try that for the rest of these pics I have!

hi guys.

i'm new to the board.

but, i was at the show in Charlotte, and was standing outside with all of you guys by the busses. heh. after reading all of your reviews i feel like i know all of you. we didn't really talk, other than Jodie showing me the picture she had taken of Bobby signing the drumstick. (b-t-w Jodie, could you send that one to me? ;D) but all of you seemed really nice and cool.

as everyone has already said, the show was beyond amazing. but the highlight was definitely the M&G and getting a chance to talk to them outside. they are awesome guys.

Marty has an excellent memory too. when we (my mom and i) were going through the meet and greet line, he was busy signing things and Ted was being anal about people hurrying up so Marty didn't get a chance to shake our hands as he pointed out when we were at the end of the table. but outside by the busses when i went up to him and started talking he was like "hey, you two are the ones that ran off without shaking my hand in the line". i told him it was Ted's fault, he was hurrying us along. he laughed a little about that.

i took a crapload of pictures, but i'll only post a few on here. if you'd like to see the other ones just let me know. ... i hate photobucket, all of my pictures are perfectly clear until i upload them on there and then they look like crap. lol.

Keisha you got it! WOW your photos are wonderful! the one of Marty touching his forehead is just fabulous! Thank you for sharing all your wonderful photos!
I love what you shared about Marty remembering you & your mom, that is so cool.

hey everyone, I just re-watched all the videos and it is so cool to re-live those moments! During Ring of Fire, Marty was all over the place. Because the most lighting was on him, it was hard to get the other guys...I tried to at one point film Billy but it was just too dark...I then had a hard time finding Marty! lol Then at one point I got bumped so the shot flys up for a few. But still fun to see intense Marty so close up.
for Rain on the Brain, Dino & Billy trade spots so they are going back & forth behind Marty. It reminds me of kids trying to sneak into photos from the background... but I am so glad they are in it, too!
Trees is another "Marty slow down I keep losing sight of you" but I think I did an ok job keeping up with him. Thank God for having the stage to lean on, I think it made for a much steadier shot than if I had been elsewhere. Anyway, hope you all enjoy!

Oh I'm not hatin, quite the contrary. The girl knew who you were from your photos on the board and as we all know, it is hard to greet every single person the same. Besides, you're already a fan, what could she say to make you any more interested?
