Chicago Park West MiG Meet and Greet

Hi everyone,

I wasn't sure where to post this, so I apologize if I've goofed.

Here are the details for the Chicago Meet and Greet. This is the private Meet and Greet for MiG. If you've registered with me...then you'll definitely meet MiG!!! If you want to meet MiG and you haven't registered yet...please pm me ASAP so I can get your name to MiG's mgmt. Thanks!!

Below are the details:

Hi!!!

If you're registered for the private meet and greet then please get to the Park West and get in line as early as you can so you can get a wrist band as early as you can. We are going to try to start the private Meet and Greet with MiG at 5pm. MiG's Mgmt and the rep they are working with for the Rockstar people will assure our places in line. I will also be helping to coordinate this...so don't worry.

Once everyone is there...we will take you over in groups to meet with MiG.

If you want to meet MiG before the gig and have not registered yet, please pm me with your name and the names of anyone else in your party!!

We have almost 30 people registered between Team MiG and MartyCasey.org!!! MiG is going to be so honored!!!

Here is a bit more MiG scoop:

He will be gigging at The Third Coast Cafe at the corner of Dearborn and Goethe tomorrow night from 7:30 to 9pm. That's in the Gold Coast. Please come by...it's free and the food is great!!!

Not sure I can get a "get out of jail free card" two nights in a row but for those of you who can, Uncommon Ground is a great place in Wrigleyville. Awesome atmosphere and food too!
For those who are able to go, it is on the corner of Clark and Grace!

whoa-- just got back from the Third Coast and Uncommon Ground shows with MiG-- crazy!!!

Team MiG greeted me right as I walked in to Third Coast and invited me over to their table. People were standing around chatting before the show, and I came over, was introduced around, and then I don't know if I was tapped on the shoulder or someone told me to turn around, but there's MiG-- right there! I think I was a little stunned at first and was literally taken aback, and he just said hi with this bright smile and gave me a hug! I do have to mention he's even better-looking in person!

Shortly after, MiG and Darryl (sp?), who switched off between guitar and keyboard with MiG, started the show. They did some originals, along with Baby I Love Your Way, Wrapped Around Your Finger, Angie, and a bunch of other songs that I'm honestly too tired to mention here. He was chatting with the audience between songs and seemed to be having a lot of fun. And he's funny-- had me cracking up more than a few times! Then we all went over to Uncommon Ground and did it again.

Got to chat with him a few more minutes and he was sweet and charming-- unfortunately, I was babbling and geeky, but I guess that happens!

BTW, if you're coming to the meet 'n greet before the Park West, try to get there around 4:30 or at least before 5. Hope to see ya then!

OH! Lucky you 7of7. You got to go to the MiG show. I wish I lived closer to Chicago. I would have very much enjoyed going to see him tonight. I am definitely going to buy his CD when it comes out. The Team MiG people have been so supportive of Marty and this site and all the Lovehammers, that I hope a lot of the LH fans come out to help support MiG too.

Ok, first of all...Melanie, you're a doll and we had so much fun with you last night!!!

Second, if you are registered for the Meet and Greet with MiG today, please be in line by 5pm at the latest. We only have a half hour for the Meet and Greet instead of an hour.

We'll be going up and down the line asking if you're registered. I'm Nancy!!! Please help me find you!!

Thank you so much to everyone from MC.org who came to meet MiG last night. He was so honored!!!

And, he is still here!!! We just booked him into the Red Head Piano Bar tonight at 11:30!!!
