Ours is the 30th  !!! I do believe my hubby would see through any attempt to pass off this concert as a joint anniversary gift!!  Besides, he was banned (by the family) from rock concerts several years ago because he's such a pain in the ass to take!! Hmmm........I'll have to really put some thought into this............... Our anniversary is the 5th and I tried to talk my husband into a trip to Chicago for the show as a gift to me! I'm still just getting flowers and a dinner out.   Not surprised, treebee! That would be a pretty big anniversary gift! But from what I can tell, your hubby must really ROCK! ;D |

I just put in the request to take the day off work and was approved. Hubby agreed to come with, and I am anxiously awaiting tickets going on sale tomorrow. I will see you there!

Uh, silly time zone question...CST is Chicago time, right? So if tickets go on sale at 11 am it will actually be 12 noon here?

We bought 6 tickets for this. My hubby and I are trying to recruit more hammerheads. I just checked ticketmaster and tickets are still available--I'm shocked!! I would have thought that these would have sold out quick. How big is the room and how many people does it hold?

I've been working on getting new people to come out to the shows. I think that is the best way to get people hooked - bring them to a concert. It's easier for me, because they are playing so many shows in our area and it's not too expensive to go. So far, for the Pearl Room, I have convinced the following people to go:
My co-worker Jen
My ex co-worker Mike and his friend
My two college friends and one of their co-workers
My younger brother and his friend
My older brother and his fiance.
10 new fans!
Anyone else bringing potential new fans?
