Don't worry about traveling along - you'll do just fine! It will be only the plane ride by yourself and then you'll meet up with friends.  Cindy & I have reserved rooms at the DoubleTree. Last year they were fairly reasonable, but they've gone up....WAY up. It's expensive this go 'round. |

I think you are okay Keslie. I don't think they charge the card unless you don't show up for the reservation and don't cancel in advance.

What about tixs sales, i would be super bummered if i make all these plans and cant even get my hands on the tixs... havent they sold the metro out in minutes before?? k the worrier in me has came out in full force today!!

I know I'm holding on airfare until I have a ticket. The hotel can be canceled without cost. BUt the airfare is another story. And also airfare goes up and down to Chicago. I fly there often to see family and know the rates fluctuate a lot.
We'll have to plan to meet up. Since we are at the same hotel.

I think Tara had mentioned on the LH board that tickets would be around $100 per person.

All will be revealed by Tara very soon....I promise! She's still having to hammer out (sorry for the pun) a few details. Don't worry - everyone will have plenty of advance notice for ticket sales. Just make sure you have your Paypal account ready and working. The website will be, as Tara already posted, at www.hammershack.com There's nothing there just yet - we're working on it. Hopefully Tara will peek in tomorrow with more info if she has it. But please be patient! |

For those who don't have a credit card and are funding their paypal account from a bank account - it takes 3-4 days to process - (I hope Tara will take that into account when she sets the date for the tickets) - in the "What If" thread, she was speculating a price of $100 - but I don't know for sure if it will be that much or not.

See, I'm not too worried because I booked my trip for a week. If all else fails, at least I'll have a cool vacation out of it. Our hotel is like 15 miles away but the rate is super cheap and the rooms are suites. We'll have a rental car the entire time anyway.
