Any idea when these tickets will go on sale? I have to take my 6 yaer old son to the oncologist on Thursday in the morning and was wondering if I need to get someone to try to get a ticket for me. I also am booked at the hojo.

I know what me and my husband are going to do. We'll start walking towards the El train to take that and if on the way we can get a taxi to stop we'll just take a taxi.

During our last trip we found cabs very easily accessible. No worries on finding a taxi.....and they didn't cost an arm & leg either.

All newbies to Chicago should relax. It's a fab city, easy to get around, easy to get taxis and some damned fine food too! Arrive hungry.

HELLO HELLO HELLO ALL! I'm so sorry for the delay! Just getting back into the normal routine (ick!) after Memphis. Talked with Amy tonight, and we're getting very excited about October! Some answers and general info/responses to your comments here: --The October 14th date is an official confirmed date with the band's booking agency/management. --The website should be up and running soon with all the show details you will need, and will have the ticket link as well! --The show will be 90 minutes long --There will be a meet and greet after the show --There will be food included in the price--still sorting out what kind of food, but we'll have something edible! lol --We will have cash bars (should've said that first, right? lol) --We are planning to have special t-shirts made to commemorate the event, and these will be included in the ticket price --I'm waiting on confirmation of a couple more fun things before posting further details, but I will post as soon as I have more info --Don't worry about travelling alone - no Hammerhead is ever alone in a room full of fellow Hammerheads! --There should be convenient train access to Metro according to the hotel rep I spoke to earlier today, so hopefully that will make everything easier for commuting to/from hotels that are close to the El. --I tried to see if there was an existing Chicago concert confirmed that I could book this event back-to-back with, but that wasn't possible. The suggestion that we book another show, while an exceptionally great idea in theory, gives me the worst heartburn you can possibly imagine. LOL. I'm joking. Well, mostly. Ticket prices will likely be $100, give or take a few bucks. As a private party, we are having to absorb some extraneous costs in addition to the performance itself (i.e., venue cost, insurance, security staff, box office staff, etc.). The tickets include the show as well as the other things I mentioned above, and hopefully more fun little goodies as soon as I get the details firmed up. I still have to get the finalized ticket layout from the ticket vendor, and this will likely take a few days. Soooo.... get your PayPal accounts ready, and I will give everyone plenty of notice about when tickets will go on sale! Vote on the name of our party! I will have a poll up shortly at the Lh forums where you can cast your vote for the official name of the Hammerhead party!
Here's the link for the poll: www.lovehammersforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=2513 Can't wait to see everyone in October! I will have more for you soon, I promise! Tara

:-XWooHoo Tara Jordan You Rock thanks for the update, I'm sure everyone is just as excited (translate = anxious) about this as I am. I know some of us can't be near a computer when the tickets go on sale and are relying on having a friend get tickets for us. What will the limit be so we can plan accordingly? thank Can I make a teeny tiny request??? please get baby tees for the girls like the lh's used to sell on their site. I'm thrilled that we will meet in October. Can't believe you were at CBGB;s and we didn't meet.
