I too had the time of my life last nite at the Stone Pony...with Marty and all the guys!!! I saw the LOVEHAMMERS at CBGB'S... the stage @ CBGB's.. was painfully small for someone like Marty Casey.... it was mind blowing last nite...where he had such a wonderful stage to run around on... a ball of energy....he never stopped moving... he barely took a drink of water.... he became one with his fans...who knew the words to EVERY song!! Last nite the men were whooping it up as much as the women...and knew all the words to the songs as well)
I've got tell all of you... Bobby started off the concert....his drums...blew me away.... the sound was loud as hell....and booming...(my son is a drummer going to Berklee College of Music...he came home from Boston to attend the concert with me....he looooooved it...and told all 4 of the guys after the concert how fantastic they all were....they were all so warm towards him!!) Martys voice was BEYOND amazing... on the song.. EYES CAN'T SEE... towards the end of the song...he started repeating..in a loud eerie voice....MY EYES......MY EYES.... MY EYES.... I swear...he was doing that for a good 3 minutes...he was wild... I won't ever forget that part of the concert!! The band has so many different sounds....and Martys voice is constantly changing!!!! What a fabulous fabulous nite.... can't wait to see the in NYC... I only hope the stage is biiiiiiiiiggggggggggggggggg.......... Meredith

continued.......... MY JERSEY ADVENTURE.............. I'm like what and i look and see the four guys walking through a dirt field. I do a slam on breaks and do a U turn  (on a one way street)  so i pull up right next to them and they freak out for a second (like deer in the headlights)  and they start to back away  and then we start yelling out the window that we were sopposed to meet them at the radio station, and I said I'm Bernadette..........so Marty starts singing my name and says oh we were talking about you this after noon on the radio........ Wow, MyO - you had some awesome drama enroute to the Stone Pony!  Glad there were no "Casualties!"  Can't wait to hear the rest...  And wendy, you are SO HAMMERED, girl...  ... Loved your review - Marty is definitely LARGE and IN CHARGE when he's onstage. I really don't think it gets any better...(except maybe another LH concert. ;D ;D ;D.) |

CONTINUED THE JERSEY ADVENTURE .....  first the hotel So now we are in the Hotel lobby and meet a bunch of fangirls I didn't know till lisa spotted a LH pin on the suite case and then I approached them it was tooks and myomy and then yak came down stairs I ran and gave her a big hug it was like meeting and old friend, and i think I stepped on my old friends foot  then diva and jodie arrive with a million suite cases  and i introduce my self and hug them........and kept picking up there suite cases they were top heavy i guess  so i was in fangirl heaven......... ok so we head over to the WONDER BAR for some eat'n we had a delicious burger....... and I left a bunch flyer's on the bar for the show, we were telling this man who was so kind to take pictures of the 4 of us using three camera and he was just a doll about it THANKS JOE.......so jodie gave him a bracelet, and he put it on and i gave him a flyer, so it is like 8:00 and we headed over to the Stone Pony which was a block away. and we start mingling and i met lots of people who are not on the boards and I gave them some pens and bracelets key chains and flyer's to get signed and they all loved it it was cool, Tahari hope you come and visit the org. and it also secured my spot in case i need to leave for a minute  THE SHOW BEGINS The band came out.............one by one , Billy first and then Bobby and then Dino and then Marty I was screaming from that point on till the end of the showI was right up front between Dino and Marty and slowly some how drifted to the middle right by Marty, poor Marty I loved his performance so much that I could not control my self in expressing my happiness ( sorry Marty) just in case he visits, Bobby starts playing the drums and it was like a wave of music literally blew through me and I was in awe.......Marty starts singing Ultra sound it is one of my favs and then Dino on bass he is too cute with his faces, just love him. billy I could not see to good but I could hear him he sounded great, they sounded awsome I was like a teenager again, and it felt good. Some of the details are a bit fuzzy cause there are too many..........it was either Clouds or Eye's can't see he sung part of it to me and stared into my eye's and one of those songs he also held my hand and I forgot to let go, so he was dancing around trying to get away and someone said let go and then I regained consciousness , and let go I'm too silly. and too tired I will continue tomorrow!!!!! |

I really don't have a review to post but the show at the Stone Pony was amazing. It tops anything else I have been to.
it was great to meet all of the new people and a few more of the fangirls. It was truly a great time.

OMG! This was my first Lovehammers concert....they are AMAZING!! That was THE BEST concert i've ever seen, and i've seen a few. Wow! Stayed around afterwards for M&G and had all the guys sign my (newly purchased) underwear. They were awesome...very funny. I was blown away by Marty's warmth...what a down to earth guy! I said something to make him laugh (have no idea how i managed that with all my babbling) and he laughed and pulled me in for a hug, and i think i could've just melted right there in his arms!!!! Marty Casey, will you marry me? I met some awesome people, too....just wanted to say hello to Betsy in PA and Angela & Lisa. Have a great time at the Canal Room....wish i could be there! Virginia |

 New posters! Sounds like you all had such a great time. Thanks for the reviews. MyO - have you washed your hand yet? We love you to death darlin, but if you were to run over the LH I don't think we would ever forgive you. Good thing you didn't lose your mind while driving (only while holding hands!) We all can understand your state of mind at that point!

CONTINUED........... JERSEY ADVENTURE........... it was either before or after the hand holding that Marty said lets have less pitures  and more hands in the air...........I don't know how I did it, but along with the cellcerts and the camera I had my hands in the air already .......... ...........I was so pumped, and then at one point Marty came off the stage and was standing right next to me and he was singing and I put my arms around his waist ........again I was under some sort of spell I do not behave like this normally. After the hour and a half that they played they left the stage and we all were screaming for an oncore but they did not have one :(so I went to the outside bar to look for lisa, jodie and diva and as soon as I walk outside the first thing I see is Marty talking to some people and signing shirts and stuff and then I see Dino wwwwwwwwwoooooooooowwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then I go inside and see Bobby I cannot remember what I said to him I think I touched his arm and thanked him for the show I was just so blown away at the friendlyness of them, and then Billy I could not believe how cute Billy is and when I hugged him I touced his curley hair it is really soft........and I had a very good conversation with Billy he has a warm heart and a big smile!!! They were so cute to talk to and have pictures with it is so easy to talk to them , not anything like I thought it would be for months I have been worried about meeting them......as you all know!!!!  but at last it was my time to have my moments to have in my heart for ever as the bar closed and the guys left I was full of memories and good feelings that have quenched my thirst for new experiences in a big way!! Lovehammers I love your soul bodies and "MINDS" THANK YOU!!!!! |
