Ladies, Ladies, Ladies....mega hugs for sharing your pics w/ us! Particularly loved the Marty-climbing-the-pole one. The man certainly loves to climb --- I bet Mama Casey had lots of trouble keeping baby Marty in his crib! **********************************************************************

Okay, I just have to say that this was far the best concert as a mom! If you were there you know that Marty pulled up a little boy and let him play Bobby's drums--well that was my son and I was so excited for him that I almost cried!! We had arrived to the concert aound 6:30 and parked ourselves right up front. My son who is 9 has wanted a Bobby drum stick since the first show he went to back in March and of all the shows that I have been to I was never able to get one. He keep asking me did I think he would get one at this show and did I think he was in a good place to catch one? My other son wanted a Dino pick so we tried to be in the best place to maybe get both! Kate (my daughter) just wanted to see her boys! When the show started the kids were so excited and were singing their hearts out and then Marty had all the kids cross the barrier and fill in the space between the stage and the barrier and of couse my kids were off, but as the other kids filled in my got pushed down to the other end and I could not see them well and almost considered pulling them back because they are only 3, 6, and 9--but I let them stay. My husband keep saying we need to get them back over here-- but I am so glad we did not. Plus there was another lady standing there who was keeping an eye on them for me and would let me know that they were okay.( Thank you for doing that and I am so sorry but I can not remember your board name) As the concert progressed Marty let the kids sing parts of the song and both the boys got many chances to sing because they were right by the stage. But the best part of the show was when Marty said "look at this kid he already looks like a rocker" and had Nick come up in stage and ask him a few questions and then let him play Bobby's dums because Nick had on a Bobby shirt and Nick was so excited. Then Marty got the whole tent to chant Nicks name--can you believe it! Then the second best part happened, according to Nick ,not only did he get the long awited drum stick he got a pair and none the less the pair that Bobby played with and then he played with!! He and his brother and sister along with the other kids all went on stage for trees and Marty held Kate's hand! As the show ended all was not lost on the dino pick as well-- low and behold Dino hands Nick a pick as he is walking out and being the great boy that he is with out hesitation turns and hands it to his brother Reese who has wanted one of months!! Reese was so excited he could not stop smilimg! As we were leaving the tent people keep going hey there is Nick and rock on Nick and he was beaming form ear to ear! Thanks to all of you who said something to Nick it made him feel-in his own words "so proud"! As a mother I try so hard to do what I can to make my kids well adjusted and feel good about themselves and to hear him say that, after I worried that I had kept them out to late after we had driven 7 1/2 hours to get there, brought tears to my eyes! We went around back and Nick got to talk to Bobby again and get his drum sticks signed and Reese got his pick signed and his picture with Dino. Kate was able to get her shirt signed by Marty and Billy and gave hugs to both! She is a shy girl and to see her give Billy a huge hug with out being promted was so sweet and he remembered her from before. He to seemed touched from her hug! We then had to drive an hour to find a room and Nick informed all of us that he was now a rock star!! By the way he slept with the drum sticks and Reese slept with his pick and Kate would not take off her shirt beacuse "her boys signed it"!! I do want to say that my respect level for Marty was so hieightened at this show because he talked about a boy whose family was there and he had killed himself not to long ago and told the kids to watch their friends to keep there ears and hearts open to others around them and keep talking about there feelings--was as parents could have said that to our kids and would have not made the impact on them as much as it did coming from him.
I know this is not the best review of that songs they played or what the guys wore or what stunts Marty pulled this show; but in a mom's eyes, the smiles as wide as the face will allow on her kids faces trumps everything eles!
My family has been through a lot in the last few years and are facing more health issues and to have a night where all that was not in the front of our minds and for all of us to have sore checks from smiling so much was priceless!
If by any chance any of you have pick of the kids if you could please send them I would be forever graiteful--my did not turn out to great. If anyone knows anything about the guy who was videoing the show and if there was any way to get the part wilth NIck if he even taped that part pls let me know!!
