ST help needed

Hi everyone,

We need your help !!! I know so many of you are already helping in many ways and we deeply appreicate everything everyone has been doing. Hammerheads are the best !!

We still have tickets available , and so I am asking everyone to please help get this sold out !!

The theme bas been set for the Hammer cruise which is Rock the Boat ~ Rock the ages (rock and roll theme)... This is not a costume part, and you do not have to dress up, but if you want too, that is fine too

We can use help with the following:

Flyers : I know there are alot of talented people who are good at making flyers. We need a few good flyers for Street Teaming and to post on the boards for other to use. You can just create a basic flyer from some of the templates in the Street teaming area or create a new one.

Street Teamers and Hammerheads: We can use your help the most !! Please spread the word to your friends, family, through myspace, emails , flyers, ect.. or any other creative way to get the word out !

If you have any good ideas for street teaming this show, please post them

If you live near Louisville or can help locally please let us know !!

Right now our goal is to sell enough tickets to cover all cost (which has NOT been met yet).

If we can sell all the tickets, we would have little extra money to purchase extra boat time, door prizes, or other extras ...

The news is that Marty is back from Mexico, and has been working on some new songs ... He posted on MC.org yesterday that he would like to play a couple of these at the Hammercruise... WHO HOOO !!!!!

Anyone know how far off that we are from the minimum? I would think that wisest move would be to market/street team in the Louisville area. Newcomers to the band will probably not travel.

I agree Bostongirl! I am in the process of adding all the Louisville myspace members to the HammerCruise friends. There are 400,000 of them. Some of the response has been really good. People that haven't heard of the band are getting a taste and liking them. Of course I'm getting the typical: I remember Marty from RS, I didn't know he had a band. So hopefully, their responses will continue to be positive. I've only had one negative one, and I think I succeeded in making it positive. The areas around Louisville also need hit hard. Anything that is within an hour or two should be our focus - besides Hammerheads.

There is a Street Team list thread, ideas, myspace tips. I'm going to start a HammerCruise "Rock the Boat" 2007 Street Team Thread. So I'll copy this information over there.

I placed two ad's so far in the louisville classified sites. One is showing at www.domesticsale.com and the other is pending approval at www.Loiusville.com. Hopefully this will help.

Hey that's great. I tried that, but they stated that you couldn't have tickets to the events posted...It had to be free. So it didn't let me. I wonder why?

Warning too..be careful what site you try to post an ad on. I clicked on one, and when the form page was supposed to come up...well..a naked guy came on. He was wearing a Christmas hat, boots, and had a handful of hay to cover what little wasn't showing of him...LOL...that wasn't good. Lucky my son wasn't in the room...oh, you think I never saw a naked guy...LOL...I didn't know what key to hit to make it go away. LOL

I'm not a pro, but I'm trying my best in ST, all my students and their parents got info from me about the cruise, looks like two of them are definitely going (their wedding anniversary, parents of course), I will try tomorrow in a local bookstore (I know the owner). Maybe that would help or at least made people familiar with the band name

I had the same thing happen I have amber eyes, so I wanted to find out how to do my make up to make them stand out more. I googled amber eyes. I clicked a website and it was a female porn star named amber!!! She had nothing on.... I clicked out of it and forgot all about make-up tips. What i saw was not even close to her eyes!!!!
