We set Sail at 9:30. You must have a ticket to board the boat. Right now this event is 18 years and older. We maybe able to allow teenagers ages 15 -17 years old ?? We are looking into this and will have more details soon. The cruise will be a minimum of 3 hours. We maybe able to buy additonal time if funds allow. We are looking into booking a DJ while the band is not playing. If anyone has experience and wants to DJ this event, please contact either me, or Roberta (taxegirl). We have some other fun surprises in the works ... more details coming soon ... We are also checking into a group discount on hotels and will let you know if we are able to set this up. OK, I just talked with Dan and the show will be an Acustic/plugged in set.
It works best for the boat set up and the guys want to do it this way.
This will make for an awesesome intimate show and it was my understanding that MARTY will be moving around.
Also Roberta had contacted the Hyatt (next to 4th street live) and was able to set up a group rate deal. She will be announcing this on special rate/code on Monday.. Way to go sweetie !!
If you have already booked your hotel, no problem, once we have the info and code you can call and get the special rate !!

As you see I think the "Rock Star" theme is a great idea!!!  This would add to festivities of pictures for everyone that will be not be able to attend. Sharing is caring don't you think  Thanks for bringing all the information over Star. |

This is a new post from the Lh Forum: Cyberocn:Hi everyone, I just wanted to clear up some questions people have had This is a private/semiprivate party and we will not be advertising to the general public. We are selling tickets through the website that we have set up at : www.hammercruise.bizhosting.com This is secure/encrypted website, all information is private and will not be given or sold to anyone. The boat has the capacity to hold 750 people between all 3 decks. Unfortunatly we will not be offering that many tickets. We are offering 500 - 550 tickets for sale . This is so that everyone can fit on the ballroom deck where the band will be playing, and to keep it intimate . The ballroom deck is where the band will be playing, and that will hold a little over 500 people comfortably. There are 40 tables on this deck and enough seating for 250 people with plenty of standing room. (see diagram in next post) You will need to buy your ticket to reserve your place on the boat, and no one will be allowed on the boat without a ticket. There is a good chance this will sell out, so if you are thinking of going, it maybe best to get your ticket earlier rather then later. We can advertise this event on the boards, forums, fan clubs and myspace. I believe street teaming is allowed, as long as it is not done through radio, newspaper, etc... Smoking will be allowed on the upper deck. This deck has a covered open area, and uncovered open areas and also has tables/seating. As far as I know the band will be plugged into the boats speakers/sound system so no matter where you are at on the boat you will hear the band. There are 2 bars full service bars that will also sell soda, water and non alcohol drinks. This will be a cash bar set up. The event is ages 18 and over at this time. You must be 21 or older to buy or consume alcohol. There is concession stand for munchies and snack type foods. I am going to contact the boat to see what all they will be serving. At this time we are hoping to work with the band and have a possible Charity Auction, Raffle or both. The proceeds would go to a charity of the bands choice. This is NOT yet confirmed, but once it is, I will add more info. We thought it would be fun to have a themed cruise, and would like input from everyone. We will soon be setting up a poll to vote on the best theme ideas. We have also started a graphic design contest for this event. This will be used on flyers, logos, misc items and possibly T-shirts. Anyone is welcomed to enter... Please check the boards and contest thread for more details. Me and Roberta have commited to covering the cost of hiring the band, the charter boat rental, insurance and all other misc. cost. We hope to sell enough tickets to cover these cost. If there is any money left over after all expenses are paid then we intend buy additonal boat time, dock time and other fun stuff. We have the show confimed, and were told we could start selling tickets... The contract will be signed very soon and once it is signed the presale will be over and we reserve the option to raise ticket prices. We hope to see everyone there !! We think that this is going to be a really special show. OK... Time to set a theme for this Cruise... We had many good ideas, some would work better then others so we decided to keep them more generalized.
Island/High Sea/Tropical/Pirate/Mermaid
With this theme we can include all the above and any other similar theme.
Rock the Boat - (Rock n Roll - All Decades)
Just that Rock n Rock themes from All Decades
Corny Tv Shows, Movies and and Animation
Gilligans Island, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Titanic, Little Mermaid, Spongebob ect.. (does not have to be a water related show)
Wild West/Riverboat Theme
Gambling, gunslingers, ect.
