I was wondering if there is ever a chance to see Lovehammers on WGN news? I have that channel with my cable and watch it every now and then "just in-case"
If any of you Chicagoans know of that happening will you post it for us, Pretty Please?

I have WGN as well on my cable system. But unfortunately, it does not carry the local Chicago news. I am sure if there are any LH performances on Chicago TV stations, a local fan will record it and hopefully bring it here.

Actually I just watched the last 30 minutes of it. Here in CO. its on for an hour and it was all local Chicago stuff. City council stuff traffic stuff and the like. Thats what makes me hopeful  |

Most of us only get old shows like Beverly Hillbillies, etc. when the news is on. I'm sure a Chicagoan will alert everyone if there is anything coming up. |

Hey RF Do you think I should email WGN to see if they plan on having the LH's on since they just won that Chicago award and all?? I am thinking it might be hard for some since they work during the day. I will keep my eyes and ears open too. Beverly Hillbillies Huh ? Bummer  |

I don't know if it will do any good but I went and sent an email to WGN telling them I love the afternoon news show and would they please consider doing a story on Marty Casey and the Lovehamers? Wish me luck with that, gosh I couldn't hurt

 I got a really rude email this morning telling me bluntly that that they ALREADY had them on in December on their Morning showNo other comments, nothing! No thank you for watching our afternoon show, no thank you for taking the time to wrote us...zip!! Who is answering the email there? The Janitor?? I guess I got my answer. Holy Cow Jilly

I'm glad not EVERYBODY from Chicago acts like whoever sent you the email. Yes, even if they had ALREADY DONE a story on the LH, they could have been a tad nicer in the reply.

I saw a really touching story yesterday about a young teen with cancer who was surprised with Super bowl tickets as a wish. It was awesome to see the young boy's dad say that his son is his hero. The boy attends Saint Rita's I think was the name?? You who live in Chicago are fortunate. You are a big city , but you have a small town feel. Love all the cultural stuff going on there too. If it were cheaper to live there me and hubby would consider moving. I did a follow-up letter to the station and thanked them for taking the time to read my email and graciously considering my request. (what a smart ass i am) Jilly |
