hey everyone, i have some questions about market days?
1) Which airport is closest to where the market days will be held? I think there are 2 different ones.
2) any cheap hotle's round that area as well.
3) Where actually is the area where the market days is held, dowtown chicgao or?
4) Im staying for 2-3 days, and market days for one, i know there are tons of stuff to do in chicago, but what are some of you guys favorites that i could go to? resturants? museams? ect. any great music scenes, i really want to go to the double doors club!!

I would recommend a breakfast there. I plan to eat there again when there in August.

You will not need a car in Chicago, public transportation abounds. I'm not from Chicago, so maybe someone else can help you better. But I do know you will NOT be finding anything CHEAP in Chicago......Is an expensive place, but well worth the moneys spent

Unfortunately, Nancy is right. There aren't too many cheap hotels in Chicago. I would recommend that you try to stay out by the airport if that is an issue for you. Since I live in the City, I haven't personally stayed out there, but I would look at www.hotels.com.

Both airports are about the same distance to the City. Market Days is on the north side near Wrigley Field.

As for other attractions, check out www.metromix.com. You should be able to find info about restaurants, museums, etc.
