The place was packed! I could not believe all the fans who came in from out of town the night before Thanksgiving! It was a great show. I'm sorry I forgot my camera at home and it was a bad rainy night, so no way I was going back for it!

THanks JS and Steph. I also get the same message on the video.
BTW - a trip to the store to see Lyn's pics is well worth the trip. Marty's hair has not been this short for a very long time. He looks younger and over the top great!!!

I don't have any good pictures. My camera has issues with focusing and the lighting. There were a lot of people taking pics, so I did not bother after a couple of blurry attempts. I do have one short video: video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2473292105016874454I could not see Steph's Hopefully this one will work.

Here's my take:
What a night! Every performer that was there was fantastic! I am now a fan of many other artists. Chris Steinmetz has an amazing ear, and I am so glad he worked on this project for the last two years. I am still tired so my review will be short. Lovehammers tore it up!!!! I am still in a daze from it all and tired from all of my driving and lack of sleep, so I can't remember the set list. I will tell you that Matt Hoffer played with them for everything but Driving Blind. The first two songs they were accompanied by Howard Levy on harmonica. The first song was planned, but Marty enjoyed it so much, he asked Howard to play the next song, too. He said he wasn't sure what it would be but he was sure it would rock. (Not exact wording.) So, he consulted with Billy and they picked a song that allowed Howard to have a solo in the middle. Ben Kelly came out and played Throw My Head with them. The models from the fashion segment also came out and had a "Fashion Rocks" moment. The interaction between the guys and the models was so playful. Very sexy. At some point during that song, Marty acted like he was going to do a back flip off the catwalk into the crowd, but he ended up psyching everyone out instead asking, "What? Do you think I'm crazy?" When they did Call of Distress, the entire first verse and chorus was sung by the crowd. The crowd started on cue with the music and Marty didn't. He just laughed and said, "You don't need me." Then he said, "You guys start and I'll finish." But once the crowd started, we all just kept going. I guess by the second verse he decided to join us. He seemed amazed that the song just kept going without him. One of his longtime friends had her birthday that night, so Marty pulled her up on stage and asked her to choose a song. He gave her grief because of all of "their" songs, she wanted to hear a cover. They did Face to Face by Disconnected. They had the 6th LH come up, Mike Six - or Six as they call him, and Marty took a break while he did a cover of Rockin' in the Free World. At some point they did Paint It Black, too. Marty said, I'll get things started and just started jumping up and down until Bobby started in on the drums. The did a song that sounded familiar, but I didn't know. It had a part in it that goes "uh-oh, uh-oh, ohhh oh". I hope you can hear the tune that's in my head. It reminded me of the new Coheed and Cambria song, but I'm not sure if it was or if it was one of their new songs. They didn't say anything before or after it so we were all speculating that it must be new. But the familiarity of it puzzled me. Of course they did Trees. They played for 2 hours. I wish I could remember every song in the order they did them. But, I know a few people got set lists so maybe they'll post it. Or, maybe I'll remember more once I wake up and can function. I didn't take any pictures this time. Just lived in the moment, and I am so glad I did. As always, this was the best show ever! I don't know how each one always out does the last, but it does. So worth the quick trip!!! Oh, and Marty held out the mic to me during Hold On.

Okay, since I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet, they also played Sky is Falling and it was PHENOMENAL!! I am still contemplating, but it may be the best LH show I've seen yet!
