My friend Jodie and I drove up last minute to this show...Marty was suppose to sing 5 songs, and we figured...lets drive 5 hourse to support him...so we did our drive, not too bad...we did start to get a little delirious in the car at hour 4...we ended up changing in the car in a Denny's parking lot, so could have possibly given the neighbors a free show...but who cares! 
We got there and walked around with our mouths dropped to the floor...it was Woodstock 30 years later, but with the same people...we realized we were going to need alcohol and we were going to need it quickly! so after I downded my "skinny bitch" and jodie her beer...and immediately got a new drink, we walked around and and took in the sights...We got to the very edge of the seating area without getting into the "VIP" area (which was just one seat from where we were standing, and security let us in close to the stage while Marty was singing to take pics...no VIP wasnt even neccessary...YEA! Marty only ended up singing 3 songs, he said they told him they were running long, so they had to cut it short..he sang "Trees", "Wish you Were Here", and "Down in Monterey" this song was written for the event and Marty had a few days to learn it...it was really Fantastic, he was all over the stage. People were really getting into his performance...But regardless where he plays or who he plays for, we all know he will win them over...his persona, and stage presence just makes you transfixed so....After that we went backstage and took a couple of pics...etc. Jodie has those, so lets see if they ever get posted...ha ha ha. But I will post a few that I took. Eventhough we were very close the stage was HUGE and about 4 or 5 feet off the floor so it seemed very far away. Anyway...after the show Jodie and I went and played at the beach...then had the drive home from hell down Hwy 1...All I will say, is it was a freaking Scene!!! Enjoy the pics!
