I noticed on LH.... there's going to be a pretty good showing of people from the boards! This is great del... Hopefully Canoe "Jam" site will put the "Merry Christmas" AYL on their site and write up a review. Cooooo Weeee. Now if we could only get Much Music to pay attention. *sigh* Cheers and thanks again.  |

Trees, I don't think I ever posted here how Canoe ever came to review the MCLH CD? Well, I emailed Canoe, asking if the review would be done and published prior to the Massey Hall show. I got an email back that they were never sent a copy, but would be willing to listen and consider publishing a review if I would send them a copy. So I express mailed my copy, and not only did they publish the review on line, but in their newspapers that Sunday. Sucks that no review copy was sent directly to them. I'm sorry I lost the guy's email. Maybe I'll have a look at "gift" him a copy of the tune from iTunes Canada. |

Great your going to put something together too. Please give a note to them about their Fans on the west coast .... Victoria to be exact are waiting too ;D Much Music could be a good one also, they have a TV show in Toronto, We receive the show here in Victoria. MM is right down town too isn't it? I'm wondering if this is the same as MTV1? Maybe take Marty there  Show him the town.  Cheers |

MTV partners in Canada with CTV. It is a pretty big flop, from what I understand. The Much Music building is right downtown and only about a 5-10 minute walk from Healeys. If Marty can spend some time with them... it could get him some national exposure.
Breakfast television in Toronto is also huge... but it is just Monday to Friday. hmmmm.
(And you are right... it was Andrew Carver.... I still have a copy of the article and it has his name at the bottom)

Ya Del, it would be nice if he connected with Much Music. Not being privy to his itenerary not too sure what Marty's timing is. Well if you get to talk with Marty when you at the show, could be a blessing. So I sure hope timing is on your side.  |

Not to worry. I took over 100 pictures of Marty with a digital SLR with a 300 mm lens at Healeys (in addition to the ones I took at Breakfast Television). There are so gooooooood close ups.
Cindy is working on them now and they should be posted shortly.
