Thanks for the wonderful pictures Denise. Would have loved to hear Marty singing Neil Young.

It is the second time I've heard it, cfbj01. He sang the song at Owosso as well. I think you'd really like it.
(PS I love taking photos, so when I get to take pictures that other people want to see... well, it is a win-win from my perspective)

We love Neil Young in our house. Hearing Marty sing one of his songs would be amazing.

I'll add my many, many thanks to del, and stiletto, and girlgonewild, and all who attended any of this for the photos, reports, and general Marty-lurve y'all've expressed. It's been so much fun to see the photos and read the reports!

Hi guys, just tuned in to see how the pictures came out and thought I would sign up to leave a word for Marty's fans.
I just have to say what a gentleman and great guy Marty is. I've had the pleasure of meeting him on his last trip to Toronto and this one - and the guy never stops smiling. I was working the merchandise table at Healey's and he went out of his way to come over after the show and thank us for helping out. Made some joke about needing some Canadian cash too.
And I'll tell you, he worked his little buns off while he was here. You guys know that he did two shows, plus breakfast television. What you don't know is that the Sean Cotton Band plays every Thursday night. Marty hooked up with them on Thursday, played at the bar all night, got about 3 hours sleep maximum before having to be at the television studio, sang Merry Christmas about 6 times with sound checks included before 8:15 in the morning, took a nap during the day, played Brantford Friday night and Healey's Saturday night. That's the regular schedule for the Rockstar parties, although in past we've included either a 5 hour drive to Ottawa for a third show or an 8 hour drive to North Bay. This one was set up on very short notice so we didn't get the third show in.
Just thought I would give you guys a bit more of what he was up to, and he still manages to look good in all those pictures.

Thanks Lisa for posting this - I thought he looked great at 8:15 on BT. Was not able to make the show at Jeff Healey's but have BT on tape.

Wow, that's awesome Lisa. Thanks for sharing. Now I wish I'd known about the bar show on Thursday too! I was found out about the Branford show with a day's notice and made sure I fit it into my schedule. I was fortunate enough to have some quality time with Marty there. I'd already planned to be in Toronto for the Saturday show with a group of friends so the next night at Healey's I got to do it all again. What a great time.
Thanks again for sharing. We know our guy works very hard and he's such a sweetie. So nice to hear from even more people....and to learn even more of the behind the scenes stuff.

The pictures are great thank you. I don't know. I'm sure I'm seeing something thats not there. He seems to look alot mellower when playing by himself. Not as intense. Calmer? Relaxed? I'm just being weird I guess.
