My first live Marty experience was
The show was great, the Rockstar Band was awesome. The line up
tonight was Suzie, Ty, Storm, Dilana then Marty. All sang 4 songs
each. Marty sang Take me out, Don't Change, Wish you were here
and Trees ( I think the same songs as the night before). He was fantastic - full of energy. I think he had the same hat as he wore on New Years Eve, with black pants and shirt, red T-shirt, I think the vest was brown and a jacket (and sun glasses). The hat and jacket eventually came off.
After the show we waited near the merchandise area hoping he would come out. Dilana and Storm were there but it was to crowded. Some man started showing me pics on his camera of Marty and his son. I asked when he took them and he said a few minutes before on the other side of the park. Needless to say me and my son headed over that way and Marty was still there. We went over
and introduced ourselves, (would I ever have thought I would do that) got our Marty pictures. A hug for me
He was also nice enough to sign a CD I had brought. He was great and like everyone has said so easy to talk to. And those blue eyes up close
I said something about Summerfest and he said he couldn't wait to play an electric show since the last few had been acoustic.
My son was good enough to take the pictures so I could fully enjoy the show (although I did take a few with a disposable camera).
I don't know how to post them here - he got some great shots.
I will post them in my myspace but probably when I get back from vacation Friday, as I am leaving early tomorrow morning.
What a great start to my vacation
