I don't have Sirius either but if someone could listen to it and somehow create a transcript of the interview, that would be great so all of us could enjoy.

I will let anyone know if any new stuff is mentioned. As of right now, it is pretty lame. It is stuff recorded from finale night. I thought it was something just being taped. It is an hour long. They played an INXS song in full (Michaels version). Talking to Marty now. Basically, same as he said on other interviews since finale. Love hearing Martys voice though. : ) Wish I could see him. I can imagine though. Now they are playing Trees after talking to Marty. The sound on Sirius is so clear. Sounds great. Hopefully, someone has a link to this later. Announcing Marty opening for INXS in January. Now talking to Gary (I want more Marty. Didnt talk to him for long). Just talking about JD. Blah, Blah, Blah. Someone will probably fill you in. Trying to take up for JDs actions. Saying JD was the only true rock n roll guy? in the experience or from the group. Cant remember exact words. Now talking about Michaels death. Dont think they are going to talk about Marty anymore. Now playing Suicide Blonde (Michaels version). Navarro up next. Talking how house band was one of the top he has heard. Navarro enjoyed his experience & was close to everyone because he was with them alot. [Many of the things being said has been repeated since these interviews]. Playing a Janes Addiction song. It is a popular one. Dont know the name of it. "treat me like a rag doll" da da da : ) [Marty should do this song. I bet he would sound better. hehe The songs they are playing are taking up alot of time. I wouldnt mind if they just kept playing TREES though.] The interviews are still from finale night. Ok, the song of Janes Addiction was "Jane Says". I hope these tidbits help get an idea of what this was about. It isnt over yet. Doesnt sound like anymore of Marty : (. Someone will probably have a transcript later.

Heard show - nothing really new. Hey, JD is now called Jason. Sure glad they didn't get ahold of Marty - might have tried to change his name too. I know, I shouldn't be so mean. Just glad I am an alternative lady!!!

Yeah, I heard that too that he is now called "Jason". Whatever, so glad they didn't pick Marty or he might've ended being "Martin". Not that there's anything wrong with that but Marty is just so CUTE!

They probably think Jason sounds less threatening...and it doesn't carry the a**hole stigma that J.D does.

Isn't Jason the creepy character on Friday the 13th that wears a mask.... how fitting! I remember one of the slogans: "If Jason still haunts you... you're not alone". MUHAHAHA

This is just another example as to why it's a good thing Marty didn't win the INXS gig. J.D. "Jason" already has to conform to what the other band members think he should now be called. Marty is still free to be true to himself and his music. ROCK ON MARTY!

I missed the first few minutes of Marty's interview but in the part I heard, he sounded very upbeat. And they played "Trees" again, which was great.
One of INXS (I think it was Garry) said something to the effect that "Jason" fit in with the band right away, but when they were on stage, they had to keep track of where Marty was going. In other words, Marty presented more of a musical and performing challenge to them than JD did. Marty is a leader, JD is a follower.

Jason (JD) took his mother's last name (Fortune) because he's estranged from his father. He went by JD because there was already a Jason Fortune. Looks like he decided to use Jason after all.

Jason? He changed his name because they asked him too? Oh yes he is indeed a follower. I will never understand why they chose the hot tempered person whom didn't have a song ready when Tim needed one for the final week?
