During this interview, while talking to Gary, I thought something he said was interesting. He was discussing when JD and Marty both performed with them onstage. Gary said JD was just the right fit..blah blah..but when he mentioned Marty he said "we couldn't keep up with him" or "couldnt follow him". Can't remember which he said. I don't know what this means??? Marty did not sing too fast...so I don't think it's that. Anyone want to comment on what this may mean? I believe it was "we couldnt keep up with him". Seems to me Mr. Marty was too potent of a performer for them. Look at the last two notes of DONT CHANGE. Holy Moly!! He cranked those!! Tim didn't have a chance to wrap his licks around those...like Rafael did. Raphael wrapped those screamin guitar riffs around those last two notes like a skin tight pair of leather pants. Tim...was left out in the cold playing with himself, instead of his guitar.

I finally got this interview up online at MartyCasey.org Sorry it took so long. It was a huge ass file....since the whole program was an hour long. And I couldn't post that so I just went in and cut out a piece of the intro and the part with Marty, converted it to streaming format and posted that.
Sorry it took me until about 3 AM to get it online. My laptop kept crashing on me when I was trying to render the file into a Windows Media format. What the hell! I finally gave up and turned it into a Real Media format. So this one will require a Real Player (its free too).
Sometimes technology just plain sux... but can only be endured due to output of more Marty. So humor me, go check out the interview clip from the Sirius radio show.

"Couldn't keep up with Marty"..I take this to mean Marty's type of music wasn't the type INXS wanted to do. But if INXS would "think back" Michael WAS trying to lead them in another forward direction. Marty definitly outRocks JD in every sense. And it sounded to me like Marty was heading in the same direction as Michael would have gone. Michael was always into new things. INXS should take note and stop living in the past.
The only thing Marty had in common with Michael was he had that "stare" and "charisma" Michael had. But it wasn't "just like" or an "Impersonation" of Michael, it was Marty doing Marty. Remember, JD is an impersonator, Marty is an orginal.
NOW: Can anyone elaborate what INXS said about Michael's death please? Did they tribute him in anyway?

Having seen INXS twice with Michael, it was very hard to think of anyone else singing for them. However, as far as charisma goes, Marty had it hands down. Whenever Michael or Marty sang, I felt they were singing either to me, for me or about me. It was always about them satisfying me with their passion (by their actions on stage and their words). Watching JD was like watching the man masterbate. It seemed like he was always trying to please himself. It seemed sleezy and I wanted to shower when he was done.
As far JD's voice and fronting INXS, he'll do well. I don't think there is anyone in here that doesn't want to see Marty with the Lovehammers rather than INXS. So we did win.
Funny thought - JD always talked about the next twenty years with INXS. Does he not realize how old these guys will be in twenty years? I can't see it. I have a hard time watching the Stones!

"They couldn't keep up with him"? It's probably his intensity they could not keep up with. They are oooooold you know. Just kidding. But seriously they would not want to follow him and have him be in the lead and can you imagine him jumping around the stage doing that Conductor thing what would INXS do? They would just be in the background. Yeah serously JD or "Jason" totally sucked up. Did you see that performance where he kissed Dave on the cheek when he was performing with him? I thought man is he kissing a$$ but it was his cheek.

Was not for JD, but it's stupid that he's now calling himself 'Jason'. Ridiculous -- they picked him for his 'bad boy image' and now they're trying to down play that? JD sounds better than Jason -- I'm beginning to think it's a better deal for Marty that he didn't get chosen. I can't wait to see Marty and the Lovehammers blossom! Keep it up Marty
