I received this very nice email tonight and have just posted this link on the front page of the site: ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello, I'm writing from a public radio show called Sound Opinions. It's out of Chicago. Marty came in to talk with show hosts Jim Derogatis and Greg Kot to give his inside perspective about the concept of rock bands touring without the original lead singers. Marty had some good things to say about the band idea and his Rock Star:Inxs tenure. It will air in Chicago this Saturday night at 7, January 14th, on 91.5FM. People outside of Chicago can stream it live through www.soundopinions.com. They can also stream the show on-demand online or download the podcast Monday morning. I hope you enjoy the interview. Yes Chicago is in Central time. We can click back and forth between this and the IndieBandRadio. I believe Marty is just one of the persons inteviewed on the show as the site shows a couple of other interviews....one with folk-rock singer Donavan who has an autobiography out.

For some reason I got error messages from real audio when I was trying to listen. I was bummed since I remembered (for a saturday afternoon with a lot going on I was amazed that I did remember) and then I couldn't connect. I'll be eagerily awaiting the podcast. Thanks Cindy. |
