Is it about lyrical creativity and avoidance of ever rhyming the words "believe" and "achieve"? Is it about social relevance? Historical comparisons? Or how much the song makes you wanna shake that groove thang silly? Methinks it's all of the above, or none of the above, depending on the song, its purpose and the way it makes you feel. And yes, I said "feelings" — I don't give points to things that make me think, but that I never, ever wanna listen to. It's a song, not a lecture, people. So I broke my Top 20 list up into the Top 10 songs or CDs of the year, as well as my favorite musical moments, sights and big crazy spectacles. But aren't big crazy spectacles what life is really all about? No? Well, then you're not living right. TOP 10 MUSICAL MOMENTS AND STUFF: 3. Marty Casey taps into his Brightside: Scary Marty was not right for our band INXS, but he was right on with his acoustic take on this obsession anthem. Who knew spooky was this hot?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (I don't understand the "spooky" comment )
