How much fun was that? I just listened to the radio interview. You all rock. For being thrown into a interview I thought you all sounded great. Giddy but intelligent!
I have to say if I had never heard of the MCLH it would make me want to check them out--I'd wonder what this band had that made people from all around the world were calling my radio station because he was going to be on the air. Hopefully you peaked some interest in Minnesota to check out the CD.
Cindy thanks for getting up on the site so soon.

What a great interview. I was laughing out loud. Good job Palari, making Marty describe what he was wearing-I love it ! And I love that he really wears what the fans give him. Radio orgy-I'm still laughing !

Nevermind! I found it! I guess the link must have been posted after I'd already been on the homepage for an extended period of time and hadn't refreshed yet. The interview was indeed awesome! You gals are all so lucky! We loved all of your questions and conversations! I would have been scared speechless with Marty listening! Marty is such a trooper! That's why we all just love him to death!!

That was great. Thank you jomarti. And thank you Cindy for posting it. That was great, I was laughing so hard (feeling as giddy as you girls on the phone lines) annd still smiling. Palari, you are so right, inquiring minds do want to know. And he was so cute and sweet. And the thing I loved most was it made him laugh and smile. He has such a great laugh and a beautiful smile. Thank you for starting his day off that way. It just made my day. Sharon

I'm from the Minneapolis, MN area so I got to just turn on the radio and listen to it. That was the first time I have heard an interview live on the radio that Marty has done. It was very entertaining to listen to. Hopefully people from the area here were tuning in and become fans. I know if they played the Trees song everywhere it would be huge. Every person I have had listen to it loves it. Yesterday my step daughter was singing along with it when I was playing it in the car and she had only heard it one time before. She said it's so catchy she couldn't help herself. I just haven't been able to get any station in the area to play the song though. Maybe another station will hear about the interview and will become interested.

I was on the LH boards last night (this a.m. for you north americans) with all the fans who participated in this "interview." I was lmao --so much fun! Thanks to all for a really fun radio orgy and for sharing the hammerlove for HOURS on air even before MC called in. And thanks to Ted for waking him up! We were beginning to worry!

Yeah you would think with the way the women in the interview were swooning over him that people listening would be curious about who he was if they didn't know and try to find out. Especially with the internet these days all you have to do is type his name in and everything comes up. I'm going to the concert here on Thursday.

Hi all - I have never laughed so hard. I heard both Palari and Marie call about an hour earlier. They first called in when they couldn't get the streaming to work. I think Ian was amazed that he was getting international calls. I was surprised to hear you two also! Then Cindy and Gina!
I'm not sure if all of you understood that the show was over at 9, so if Marty hadn't called in when he did, there wouldn't have been an interview (they're on from 5-9). I was sweatin bullets. You all kept us entertained though. It was the next best thing to Marty!

Yeah I don't think the DJ's realize how far Marty has reached in popularity. I think they just think there is a fan club of women in an area and they all try to get them to play songs. They don't realize the people in the fan club are from all over the world.
I thought the DJ was funny too. I thought Marty answered the questions well too. I thought the whole thing was hysterical. That's just the type of interview that needs to be done to get people to pay attention.

that was great!! thanks to jomarti for getting that ball rolling! It was quite funny when palari asked him what he was wearing and the "radio orgy" comment but to me the funniest thing was Marty saying that his scentlessness was some big secret thing he had going on... so cute!

My daughter got a big kick out of hearing me on the radio and my husband and one of my sons didn't believe me when I told them what I'd done! The DJ was a riot I thought...I just said to someone that I wonder how he'd have conducted the interview without all of us on the line to do most of the talking. You know, which direction he would have gone in with his questioning. Well...it can't compare to yesterday, but, the highlight of my day today has been playing with my new carpet steamer! Oh well...back to reality!

I am glad you all liked the interview; i can say it was surreal.
And actually I first only called in when I heard Palari was on, and i thought ''Hey i'd call in so that the DJ, the listeners and LH know they have fan all over the world''; I really did not expect to be on the air. But it was a GREAT experience.
I love the fact that you think that our presence, us overseas fans, could have an impact on the people not knowing about LH; that was exactly my aim calling the station. Let everyone know, LH is not post reality TV band trying to make it big; they ARE big, and around the world, and even in places where the show was not aired (even thought i am probalbly the only French knowing them, but you got to start somewhere, right..) lol
