I saw this some time ago in the Washington Post in a piece by Richard Harrington on Bon Jovi when they were at MCI Center in December. Since Doc is now Lovehammer's manager, this paragraph jumped out. There is a paragraph about how well BJ has done by thinking globally. Wonder what Doc has in store for our Lovehammers. Full article - www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/12/15/AR2005121500510_pf.html"Thank God for our former manager [Doc McGhee]," Bon Jovi says. "He said, 'We're going everywhere,' and we were eager because we were young kids at the time and hadn't been anywhere and never dreamt of going anywhere. . . . I remember specifics about very big bands in America that couldn't play a bar outside of the country, so when America does turn its back on you -- and radio is fickle -- they have nowhere else to go. We were able to go to South America, Australia, Europe, Asia and Africa and come back as the tides turned. Thank God he had that insight and foresight."

You're very welcome! I feel confident they're in good hands, at least management-wise. Wish I felt the same about Epic, though.

It does make me feel like the guys have the best possible management. As for Epic, the band is TOTALLY pleased with the label. There are obviously a number of things Epic is doing for them behind the scenes. I'm sure there is a lot more to come.

That's great news to hear the band is happy with Epic! That's all that matters.
It was the whole CD promotion (and what appeared to be non-promotion) thing that made me wonder. I should know there's always more to the story [really seems like there should be a LH lyric for that thought...] and this industry has their way of doing things, so thanks for making me feel better!

I am going to be sad to see the current tour end, but I have a feeling there's going to be a Hammered summer ahead. Hope they make it my way again. Can't wait to see what's coming.
