Check this out....got this as a google alert this morning....

Mentions the LH opening up for the Psychedelic Furs later this summer....

Let's see if the band does confirm this by putting it up on their tour schedule on the LH site....

ETA: It seems the Psychedelic Furs website has the Lovemakers and not the Lovehammers as their opening act....so.....this article may be in error....only the LH know for sure what their plans are and we'll have to wait for the official word from them....* she said as patiently as she could*......

This is interesting my... I'm on the edge of my seat.

I'm running into dead ends looking for an official site for PF. I can only find unofficial fan sites. Someone help me with my dorkitis, please.

According to this Psychedelic Furs site, which gets official confirmation from the band directly, the opening act is LoveMAKERS for these dates yet to be confirmed, so no LH on that tour.

I'm familiar with that site as I saw PF live 2 yrs ago and frequented that site quite a bit at that time...they were amazing, so a show with them *and* LH would have been pretty fab!! Ideally, LH would tour with a non-80s band next time around ;D

This is a case of don't believe what you read to be truth ....all the time....

The official word should be out ...very soon....from the band themselves....
