MLB: Sox announce 'Ring Day' festivities What: Fans will witness Chicago White Sox players and coaches receiving their 2005 World Series Championship rings in a distinctive pregame ceremony. Who: Epic Records performing artists and South Side natives Marty Casey and Lovehammers will perform an exclusive pregame acoustic set. Chicago-based singer/songwriter Alice Peacock will sing the national anthem. Olympic gold medalist Shani Davis will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Thanks for the info, Ceeje! Wish I lived in Chicago as always. My day will come... BTW, I was trying to remember what was the name of the White Sox's stadium. Went by it on Amtrak and thought is was a silly name for a field. LOL

Where: U.S. Cellular Field That just gets even better - an acoustic set! Really wish I could see that. UandMe there's your answer - US Cellular Field. And yes it completely sucks. I'm sure that 90% of the ballparks are more are all named after corporate sponsors now.
