Well, at this point the Hammers have two songs underway in the studio. One is a tune we have been tracking for years but never properly recorded and the other is a song I wrote in Mexico last year that we play live called "That's Life". The band does not have any other songs completed or tracked at this point.
I was really happy with the story created in "That's Life". It felt like I achieved something new in songwriting development. I also, tracked "That's Life" in Los Angles at the beginning of April with Joe Cassidy. The Hammers approach is acoustic based with great texture. The Joe Cassidy version is experimental and dark. It's fun getting to feel different emotions from the same song. I hope to release them both together as part of a future release someday.
