Jodie,
I haven't been on this thread for a very long time. I had no idea about everything you have been going through.
My father died of Alzheimer's, and it was such a strange mixture of loss, but also joy that he had finally been set free from such a devastating disease.
I'm so glad that you have strong family ties (this helped me tremendously during the time we watched our father's passing).
LH fans/friends are such a generous group of people. I'm glad so many have been there to send their thoughts and prayers your way during this difficult time. Please add my sympathies for your loss.
I hope LHs will give you an evening to just enjoy life. As they say... live every moment as if it is your last. It is only then that you are living to the fullest.

Jodie,
So very sorry about your grandma. It is so wonderful that you have that picture to cherish and that you were able to be with her so close to her passing. I was with my grandfather when he passed away and I felt comforted knowing that he was surrounded by love as I'm sure your grandma was too.
I know you will have a wonderful time at the Charlotte show (and you have already even before the show) and I can't wait to hear ALL of your stories and see ALL of your pics when you have more time.

Jodie,
My condolences to you and your family. Take one day at a time, and appreciate that your Grandmother is in a place of peace. It helps!
