How to fix a broken avatar

I noticed that there are a number of people here who currently have broken avatars....particularly if they are using one of the smilies type avatars posted here on the site. I apologize for "breaking" all of these, but I had to move the avatars from one location on a server to another due to a technical issue. So if you currently show a broken/no avatar and you should have one, please go back into your profile and re-select the avatar you are intending to use. That should clear this issue up.

Helen, I just went into your profile and fixed yours. The path to the whistling avatar had changed. Sorry. But you are good to go now.

I also have tried to fix mine mant times...it stays for a couple of hours then goes away again....any thoughts how to fix it?

Hi

You are using an avatar that you are hosting off the message board. So if it "goes away" some of the time, that would probably be due to photobucket being offline for that period. Yours I cannot change a path to make work...it is not part of the message board. Sorry.
