~Martin Xavier Casey~
Master Conductor of the Concert Stage
I was a latecomer to Rock Star: INXS. I must have been in the backyard BBQing! The first song I ever heard you sing was "With Arms Wide Open" and I've been "hooked" ever since! You have a presence about you that is extraordinary! I watched you and you "wowed" me!
Being a frequent visitor to the message boards, I had the pleasure of writing to your Sweet Sister Liz and Big Brother John, and still do via e-mails now. They are amazing people and they love you so much and are so proud of you and they took the time to write and share in this experience with all your fans…beautiful!
Marty, you allowed us a glimpse into your life. We saw the person behind the Rock Star! Thank you!
You are an amazing and beautiful person as you were a true friend to everyone on that show. The one who stood by, listened, encouraged, and lifted your friends to reach their full potential! You made this journey and I'm glad the experience helped you self-discover the gift
that has always been there inside you!! Marty, you have the voice, the presence, and the most engaging eyes that just draw everyone right into the song you are singing and because of you, Chicago's best kept secret is out . . . The Lovehammers.
I know you wanted to win RockStar and honestly you should have for you shined the brightest and rose above every challenge they gave you, but I believe God has bigger and grander plans for you!! With all you took away with you from that experience remember this also, INXS never said you were not right for their band. There is a lot to be said for that not being said!
The night you sang "Wish You Were Here", I was in tears. After you sang it as an encore I posted this on the message boards and it took on a life of its own:
Hearing Martin Casey sing "Wish You Were Here" the first time . . . EMOTIONAL
Hearing Martin Casey sing "Wish You Were Here" as an encore . . . AWESTRUCK
Seeing Martin Casey do slow-motion Conductor Guy . . . BONUS
Seeing Martin Casey's beautiful and humble smile when he heard he pooled
more votes than the bottom three combined . . . PRICELESS!
Martin Casey . . . the gift that keeps on giving!
Marty, you are the "master conductor" of the stage!
The world has embraced you! The world is now your stage!
For the painted toenails alone you rock!!!
The Lovehammers are on the platinum path, and the stars are in reach!
Shine on . . . Marty, Dino, Bobby, and Billy!!
You will make us sing, you will make us cry,
you will make us dance, you will make us scream!
The world is going to be singing your songs back to you!! That's priceless!!!
Let the journey begin . . . and may it never end!!! Enjoy the ride!!!
