Part 19
She went down to the police station days later and explained to them what happened that fateful night. It was hard for her to get her emotions out at first, but she managed to say that Josh was the one responsible for supplying the drugs and alcohol. One of the officers said that they wouldn't arrest Josh for the alcohol considering that most of the partygoers were over the age of 21. But as far as the drugs went, there would be some charges filed against him.
Lucy walked back to her apartment with some relief. Josh would finally get what was expected of him and everything would be over. It felt good to finally say something. She entered her apartment and suddenly sunk down to the floor and sobbed for what seemed like an eternity. She still missed her friend despite the complications that arose between them and wished that they didn't go to the party.
She sighed heavily once she had finished sobbing and started to grab a few things from the bedroom and bathroom. She was about to turn on the light when she felt something heavy hit the back of her head and everything faded to black.

Part 20
(1 day later)
She remembered what had happened the night before. She came to, saw Josh's face, and was struggling to get up and yell out for help. But he had gotten a hold of her quickly and proceeded to hurt her. Bruises and cuts formed instantly and Lucy was starting to think that she was about to join Marie. She suddenly started to gasp for air as he pressed down on her neck until someone grabbed him by the collar and threw him against the wall.
Now she was in the hospital with some bandages and some stitches in the back of her head. Lucy awoke and felt like she was paralyzed, but wasn't. She heard two people talking outside of her room about her progress.
"I'll be back to check on her in a few hours," someone said as he walked away. "Thanks," another answered.
Lucy struggled to sit up from the bed but was quickly told to take it easy. She slowly refocused her vision and realized that the other person was Marty.
"All I was doing was trying to sit up. Not fall out of the bed," Lucy managed to say as she laid back down on the bed. "You still gotta be careful though," he said. Lucy sighed nervously and replied, "It's not as bad as it looks." "Trust me. It's pretty bad."
She started to tremble as she continued to talk. "I tried to fight him off. But I couldn't. I was too weak to do anything," Lucy said in between tears, "I guess I shouldn't have said anything to the cops." "Don't say that," he said, placing his hand on her shoulder, "You did the right thing. They're still looking for Josh right now."
Lucy shook her head and told him that they wouldn't be able to find him. "They'll get him. Don't worry."
Days later, she was released from the hospital and was told to get some rest. As she walked back to her apartment with Marty, she suddenly spotted that her apartment door still had yellow tape plastered in the shape of an X.
"I can't believe it. My apartment's a crime scene," Lucy muttered.

I'm guessing that everyone's going to the concerts (unlike me, unfortunately), or that this story has turned to crap. Anyway, here's the next part... -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 21
"Falling through your clouds I Hope you can catch me Never leave you alone Falling through you now I Hope you can catch me..."
Lucy stared at her reflection in the mirror and rolled her eyes in half disgust and half "what do I care" mode. She turned on the water in the bathroom and began to splash her face with lukewarm water. As she pressed her hands on her face, she thought that she heard yelling coming from outside the bathroom door, but quickly brushed it off. She then glanced in the mirror and spotted Josh staring at her from behind. Lucy turned around quickly and saw that no one was staring at her.
"My mind's playing tricks on me," Lucy thought to herself as she ducked her head under the faucet and splashed water on the back of her neck. It was true. Her mind had been playing tricks on her for days while she was at Marty's apartment recovering from the incident.
As she turned the water off, another pair of eyes were staring at her. She quickly turned and felt some relief when she realized that it was Marty.
"You scared the hell out of me," she replied. "Sorry. Just wanted to make sure you're OK. That's all," he said.
Lucy nodded her head and grabbed a towel from the rack to dry her face.
"So are you?" He asked. "Am I what?" Lucy said as she dried her face. "OK?" She shrugged and replied, "I guess. I keep seeing things though." "Like what?" "Like...him, for one thing. They still haven't found him and I still can't go back into my own damned apartment."
Lucy sighed and stared back into the mirror, where she was able to see that some of her cuts and bruises were clearing up but not completely. Her head still ached from where she was hit and she didn't know what else to do except rest and wait.
"I look even worse than I did before," she muttered. "I thought it was getting better," Marty said, walking over to her. "Guess not."
He examined her face and then looked at the back of her head where she received some stitches.
"I think you're getting there," Marty said. "Yeah. Sure I am." "I'm serious. I wouldn't lie to you. You're slowly getting back to your old self. It just takes time."
Lucy nodded and walked out of the bathroom in silence. She then turned around and asked if they could start everything over from scratch.
"I hated how we left things the last time," Lucy said. "Sure. I think we already have, though."
