Megan could see that this was going to be her only chance. She had to risk everything to survive. She ripped off the wig and ran directly for the group of 13. She summoned everything fiber of power within her until her entire body was consumed with a brilliant light.
"What the? Come back she is inside!!" Ted's calls were of no use, as all of his men had abandoned there posts to follow after who they had been ordered. Cloud was far away by now.
The men and women were in shock at the venom that Megan had in her eyes for them. Trying in desperation, the used what few weapons that they had to try to defend themselves from the attack. However, Megan had been trained for this moment, and nothing was going to stop her.
The first person that she reached, tried to stab her with a knife. Megan blocked the attack easily, and countered with a fist to their face. The used the knife to plunge it into the enraged members chest.
Wave after wave of power coursed through her body as she battle each and every member of the darkness that came near her.
Fierce punches, kicks and attacks flowed from Megan's limbs, swiftly in a fluid motion. Until she was ready to release all of her energy. With a final war cry, Megan focused on all her power on the evil soulless beings around her. A wall of light radiated from her and punched through the air of the room. the shock waves were so strong, that Ted feel off his feet.
The last few members of the darkness, were blinded by the light. Falling to their knees they were turned to ash. The alter was a blaze on the ground.
Megan turned her attention back to Ted.
"Just you and me now Ted."Megan gathered her energy within her soul. She was ready to finish this.
"Megan..."Ted clearly was afraid. He began to walk backward toward the door.
"Stop." Ted attempted to take another step as he heard the doors lock.
"This really wasn't anything personal Megan. just a deal arrangement. You just happen to be the key. So much power...don't you feel it?"
"Ted. I wouldn't tell you what I feel if you were the last person on this earth. I am going to kill you. That is the deal arrangement that I think is fair. Too many lives would be destroyed with your deal" Megan began to approach Ted.
Ted ran for the stage area. he moved through the motionless bodies in the crowed and pushed through them. Jumping up past the barricades, he made it to the stage.
A glimmer of something shiny caught her eye as she saw Ted pull a dagger from his coat. He was going for Marty.
Megan was up on stage in an instant. With a roadhouse kick, she was able to knock the dagger from Ted's hand. He threw a feeble punch at her face. His body reeked with the stench of decaying flesh. Ted was a walking corpse.
"Bad boy, Ted. Wrong move."
Megan gave two good jabs to Ted's mid section. She followed with a series of combinations, until Ted fell from his feet. His body flew backward landing on the stage floor.
"It's over." Megan released an energy ball directly into Ted's soul. His body convulsed as he couldn't stand the energy within him. The light filtered through his skin, until Ted bursted into flames. The fire consumed him, until nothing was left but ash.
Megan fall to the floor.
The sound of a door being shattered behind her, startled her as she began to stand for another battle.
"Megan? Are you alright?" The clear voice of cloud made it's way to Megan.
"Cloud you alright. Is it over?" Megan was overjoyed to see her guardian, but she hated to think that she had to continue to battle any more.
"Yes. I took care of the rest of the men. It is safe now. You won...Just one last thing to do."
"What?" Megan was afraid to ask.
"You can't remember any of this" Cloud said.
"I knew that was coming. "
"No one will remember this...You have to focus on setting everything back to the way it should be. know that this is for the best."
"Cloud, I.. I will miss you. I will miss Marty.." Megan wished that she could have a moment to say goodbye to him but she knew that this was for the best. She couldn't imagine spending the rest of her life attracting evil and battling like a super hero.
Megan walked over to Marty and gave him a small kiss on his cheek, "I will always be a fan girl."
Cloud gave Megan a huge hug, and told her that she was always going to be with her.
Megan stepped off the stage and walked to the back of the club away from the crowd. Summoning every once of strength that she had left, she focused on a blank page before her. White light engulfed her and consumed the room, flowed out into the world and into time. A new start was given and all the memories of the past forgotten.

The next morning...
Megan woke up to the sound of a phone ringing. It was her phone. She was in her apartment. Her head hurt, and her body felt like it was hit by a freight truck.
"Hello?" Megan answered the phone.
"Megan..." Megan recognized her co-worker Kelly's voice on the phone, "I just got two tickets to an LH event girl and I want to take you!!!! And the best part is that I have this friend that is going to get us backstage passes..We are going to meet the band!!"
Megan's heart skipped a beat...A new beginning was about to start. Maybe this was going to be a great year afterall.
