This is very cool--kind of like "1984" meets Pete Townshend's "Lifehouse".

I don't have enough technical know-how to be a geek, and I'm not smart enough to be a nerd. Add to that my "can't write a story unless it's on paper" problem, and it makes me just a dork. I will move the Asylum story to the top of my to do list (yes, I have an actual "to do" list -- remember, I'm a dork), and get the next chapter posted tonight! I even added it to my "ReminderFox" list in Firefox (which I just discovered with new update came a "to do list" feature -- I literally got chills!). So...tonight! Thanks for all the great feedback, everyone!

Ceeje,
Are they picking on you? I understand that you are busy...writing a story and then transfering it to the computer does take time. I personally am slow at typing. My thread is all from the top of my head, no papers before hand.
Thus, it has lot's of grammer problems (Miss Cheza corrects me often...Love you Cheza!!!!).
My personal writing at home is all brain storming note's on many tablets of paper, main copy on my lap top, back up on my flash drive, and a hard copy . I worry about losing my work. Believe me, I learned my lesson the hard way. My first desktop got a virus and my files were eaten by a worm.I lost almost all my files. I copy everything I write down now.
I love your work. Keep it up. And don't rush...good writing is worth the wait.

HEY! I try not to, but somehow the English teacher in me takes over...in a hostile manner, I might add. I sent two kids out today...should have been five. Is it time for Spring Break yet? Nope...not until the last week of March Oh well... Ceeje, I'm loving this story, and we do understand what it's like to be busy. You girls may not see as much of me for the next six weeks. I'm attempting to take an online course...if I don't end up dropping it...I'm also busy with the Relay and school stuff...so time is precious. Peace.

As a former school librarian who occasionally had trouble keeping order during "study halls"...
I would threaten to sing to them, and it would be "Feelings" unless they kept the level acceptable.
And if they didn't, I did.
;D

Oooh...I like that...sometimes I sing pretty well, but I'm sure I could fake it to make it SUPER BAD...

That's the whole point...
You must say it threateningly, not jokingly:
If you do not STOP now, I am going to SING, and it WILL be FEELINGS!
Works like a charm... teehee..
I think most would've rather had detention ;D

Gingerpyle you were a librarian?! What a great job...One of my mentor's was my school high school librarian. She made me realize how important my writing was. Moreover, I lived in the library...volunteered in the mornings before class, during breaks and after school. I love books.

You are all so funny and sooooooooooo talented. I patiently await stories from all of you. And I do understand how busy everyone is. Look how long it took me to get back and check this thread Ceeje - I write also, lyrics and poems. It is always on paper first. Was just teasing.
