Well - 1 thread, 2,499 views, 213 replies , 144 pms, and 17 days later, our gift is built, wrapped, and ready for opening. .now we just need to sit and wait for our friend to come online.

I want to thank everyone who helped make this come true. Thank you to all who contributed lyrics, made suggestions, helped with the Christmas card, and the cheerleading section. And a very special thanks to Hammeredham who spent countless hours bringing life to our song with sound.

This experience has touched me, profoundly. I was a virtual unknown to everyone on this website, yet you all came and gave me your personal thoughts, your time, and your trust. In many ways this has been a gift to “us”, certainly to me. Trusting, sharing, and working together – we can accomplish a lot together. And please know and remember that this all started by one person’s random act of kindness to me.

I know that this will mean a great deal to Marty. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all.
