BG, I checked your link for the song earlier and it said your account was over the bandwith allowance for the day. So methinks we all need to stop clicking on it, so when our friend arrives he can get to it! I also have a ripway account if you need assistance.

I am not sure what is happening here. When I go in and right click on the file name, it let's me download it every time. I just tried it again. Try doing that and let me know if it works. Maybe I need to post some directions in the Present thread.

I went out to Ripway and tried downloading two ways. When you hit the open button beside the file name, you get the bandwidth error message. I think that is because so many folks are opeing the file on the Ripway website.

Here is how to download the file without error:
1. Write click on the filename.
2. Chose the Save Target As option
3. Note what folder it will save to or change it
4. Hit the save button

Let me know if you have any troubles using this method

You guys did such a wonderful job with with a song!!!!...I bet our friend is simply overwhelmed and he needs some time to answer

You know, I've got a case of nerves down in my stomach waiting for this thing to unfold that is 10 times worse (or better???) than *anything* I experienced while trying to come up with a tune, play it, sing it and record and master it. Holy is this "stagefright"? ;D Maybe I need that Killians Red that I mentioned earlier !!!

Well, it could also be that I'm ready for dinner. My stomach sometimes gets confused on these things.....

maybe it lets you download it boston, because it's your account -- I tried the right click, save to on the link in the Gift thread -- and when I hit open it was the link to the "bandwidth exceeded" page, not the mp3 -- you said you are downloading it from the ripway site?? If so, how do I see the page where the file can be downloaded???

(this could be complicated by the fact I'm using IE7 and have yet to get any mp3 on a website to work!! - don't know what's up with that either!)

Can someone email me the mp3 instead???

Oceancat - you have to hit the save button, not the open button. When you hit the open button you are using the computer resources on Ripway.com. And we have used all my free bandwidth for the day. When you hit save, it copies it to your computer. The mp3 file is in your email. pm me, if you need more help. I would be more than happy to assist.
