darna, do not give up. Look how far you've gotten already!!!! I think your idea of entrepreneurship--using your talent for doing your own thing--is the valid one. You are so right that "what goes around comes around", so jettison those idiots and keep going forward. Your "spunk" and enthusiasm is for you to use, not for jerks like that to abuse. Love ya, and let us know how it goes from here!

Believe me, Mia, I know how you feel. It is very frustrating on this side of the planet. But you must remember the amazing things you have accomplished and not give up. Time to move forward in your own life with your professional goals--and ST when you can. Just think, the boys are finally filming a video --we'll have something to show everyone! hang in there!

Very cool and wonderful fashion designer Rachel Riley is in Hong Kong for a trunk show. She is most famous for her children's wear (bought by Jude Law, Jerry Hall, Elle Macpherson, Kate Moss, Nigella Lawson...) and she also creates women's wear. She is fairly amazing --check out her stuff on www.rachelriley.co.ukAnyway, I met her yesterday and brought along a wristband. She asked if she could keep it! I said of course, of course! Here's a pic.

Hi y'all, Contacted MYX Music Philippines and they accept DVD/Beta Cam Pal submissions from any band. So, of course, MCLH can send their stuff to this TV station. I already informed the band that they can. Since the DVDs won't be available until X'mas time, then I estimate that it will be next year, that MYX Music will get a chance to audition MCLH's latest DVD compilation for viewing. I'm sure they will televise it if I have anything to do about it  At least, it's not just MTV Philippines but the other main music station MYX that will have the privilege to show their videos. Rock on!

I just got some very sad news today. K-lite 103.5FM Manila's Lite Alternative will no longer exist by December 2006. They have been around for 10 years but management decided to change the station's format to an EASY LISTENING one.
Klite Manila was the very first station in the Philippines to ever play an MCLH song. Trees became number 1 for four straight weeks on K-lite's Top 35 Weekly Tally. Marty, Billy, and Bobby got their first Philippine radio interview here.
I thank DJ Ron for being the first DJ to give Marty Casey and Lovehammers a chance to be heard in one of the coolest stations in Manila, January 19, 2006 (TREES). DJ Ron was also the first DJ to ever interview Marty Casey in the Philippines. DJ Ron was also the one who let me talk about MCLH 5 times Live On Air. Special thanks also goes out to one of my favourite DJ's, DJ Vito for interviewing Billy and Bobby on the Morning Brew Show. Thanks to the cool Newscasters Anjanette, Janice, Micki, and to the rest of the former K-lite Crew. Finally, thank you Nigel, Program Director of K-lite, for being the force in putting TREES on K-lite's playlist, making history for Marty Casey and Lovehammers.
K-lite 103.5FM Manila's Lite Alternative, you will be missed.
Over and Out....

MCLH have really taken off with students this week. my clever daughter brought wristbands to school for a few marty fans/friends and could not keep up with demand. The next day she brought in more, plus a CD for one of the guitar-playing trendsetters. He absolutely loved it. Many of the kids --including him-- now have MCLH on their myspace and are checking out this website. YAY! i do have a big supply of wristbands here; fans in Asia, Australia who need them, please PM me.
