WHEW, having a couple of good hammer days, kids.
First, find out that LH will be playing in NYC while I am there so score tix to the Canal Room show (hurrah!!!!!!!)
then during first outing in weeks (too busy to even have time to write about how busy I am) I drop by HMV, which is now carrying multiple copies of MCLH at increased prices! Yay. Bought another, moved the stack to promininet eye-level display,
then went to phone store with hubby. My "no swear words allowed" mobile phone has crashed irrevocably so I got a new one today. It's very cool and comes with software that lets me put anything I want as ringtone. THAT'S RIGHT my ringtone is now from MOMM:
Calling keep calling, keep calling keep calling!"
OMG so happy. This is a street teamer's dream come true. Just want to ride the subway and have people call me!

On the cover of Fudge Magazine's July 2006 issue is sexy Johnny Depp in his Pirate's of the Carribean costume. Also mentioned on the cover of Fudge Magazine is "MARTY CASEY AND LOVEHAMMERS". It may be in smaller lettering but the Lovehammers very first feature article in one of the top pop culture magazines in the Philippines has been published. So go on...read on about it!

"FEEL THE LOVE" and "SHOW SOME LOVE" are two (articles) written about
Marty Casey and the Lovehammers. They are pages 32-33 on Fudge Magazine, July 2006 issue. A feeling of accomplishment and pride rushed through me after seeing these articles published. As you will read on "Feel the Love", it was quite a feat to have Marty interviewed properly. For some reason, his phone cards wig out everytime he calls the Philippines. Poor guy. But in the end, the interview happened and the article "Feel the Love" was composed. Thanks to the friendship I've forged with Fudge Magazine, they allowed me to interview the Lovehammers via email and gave me credit for it. So article two was born--"Show some Love" by Mia P.

If people would like a copy of the July "Lovehammer" issue of Fudge Magazine, it costs $3.00 + shipping. I don't know what the shipping cost is yet but it will be quite pricey because of the shipment is coming from the Philippines. I will check on the shipping price and give you guys an estimate ASAP. The best way to send payment is through Western Union. Just "pm" if you want a copy. I'll do my best to get you one.

I also sent www.martycasey.org an electronic copy of the articles so those who can't order will have the opportunity to read them.

Last night went to the Coldplay concert (a birthday present for my daughter) and when we arrived, Star TV, which was sponsoring the event, was promoting RS:Supernova. I took a leaflet and told the PR chick that the T-shirt I was wearing was from Marty Casey's band and of course had to explain that he was on RS last year. She had no idea what I was talking about, but everyone around was really cool about my promo of LH and loved the cross promotion.

Here we are at the concert, plus one of Coldplay performing Ring of Fire! (Hammers much better -- I prefer the rocking version to the hoe-down interpretation!)

BTW, Star TV is now promoting INXS' just-announced tour dates in Asia. Whaddya know, no more Michael Hutchence's hometown of HK. They will be going to Singapore and Malaysia. Asian Street Teamers, be sure to get there and spread the Love!

Awesome pictures. Both you and your daughter are beautiful. I love your shirt. I doubt LH will be offended. I don't think I'll be street teaming during INXS August 15 concert at all because I already have an exclusive event for them July 29: Marty Casey and Lovehammers Fan Appreciation and Listening Party. That's enough. I've sponsors and all. I just hope it turns out to be great. I'm giving away prizes, show video clips of the band, and hired a cover band to play LH songs, and will have MCLH CD's sold by Odyssey record bar.
